History
Misfit a girl with flaming red hair, and sparkling green eyes. With a very bright future, and a shadowy past, the hero world only knows her as Misfit. She began her career as the young Misfit, as the new "Batgirl". This was when the current "Batgirl"
Cassandra Cain was away as the leader of the League of Assassins. The young teenage girl started to be known after taking care of the little crimes of Gotham.
Someone parading around as "Batgirl", caught the attention of Barbara Gordon, better known as Oracle. Oracle sent Huntress and Black Canary to find this new Batgirl. They had Gypsy act as if she were in trouble. The "Batgirl" found them, and attempted to save them. When saving them wasn't what they had planned. They tried to capture the girl but it became apparent that this girl had metahuman abilities.
The Batgirl seemingly disappeared into thin air, only to reappear in Oracle's office. Calling her by her first name, nickname, "Babs". It is now known that the teenage hero had been watching the "Birds of Prey" team for quite sometime. The two redheads broke out into a fight, Batgirl having the upper hand. Barbara won the match by showing the new "Batgirl", pictures of Stephanie Brown's autopsy. This convinced the girl to give up the Batgirl mantle. But not to give up being a hero.
The mysterious redhead teen heroine reappears now as Misfit. While Oracle is attending to other matters, Misfit briefly fills in for her at the computers. Figuring that it would be better for her to be in the "battle" field. Misfit teleported between
Metropolis and southern California. Once again exhibiting her metahuman abilities. Rather than helping the team, Misfit became someone for the team to "babysit". But was of some help during the mission.
Misfit is an active hero, and or rather aspiring to be one. She takes it that she has Oracle's (who is her rolemodel) blessing to be a hero. And does what she does. But she would prefer any day to be with the team Birds of Prey.
Characteristics
Age: 16
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 110 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Red
Unusual Features: None.
Personality:
Vibrant, energetic, positive, annoying, angst, hardworking, dedicated, aspiring, hope, combine these you get a Misfit. She's there whether you want her or not. She's young, naive and probably one of the most innocent heroes, at this time. She hasn't experienced the horrors of being a hero quite just yet. Right now she takes it as "fun and games." Never really heeding anyone. A quality that was shared by both Jason Todd, and Stephanie Brown.
Extremely naive, and a bit annoying, at times. She can be considered the "Kitty Pryde" of the Birds of Prey. Misfit always seems to have some enthusiasm and is always has a way to show it. She likes to keep upbeat and positive. She shares what’s on her mind, whether its offending or not.
Misfit's personality can also be described by her alias. She is "apart" of the fighting group Birds of Prey, but is a misfit among the others. She is very stubborn, and is very persistent. Her determination is fierce wanting badly to show everyone that she can be a hero. Misfit's qualities are very similar to those of Stephanie Brown aka Spoiler.
Loud and proud can also identify Misfit. She takes great pride in being a "hero", and tries her best to show it. Although it usually turns out parallel in which she intended for it. Being as young and naive as she is. Misfit is positive in most situations, and emits a certain attitude when around a group. It could be mistaken for annoyance (annoying).
Powers
Known Powers:
Teleportation - These are the powers that Misfit uses the most. Getting her out of sticky situations. The limit to this is unknown but seems to be able to go as far as hundreds of miles.
Superhuman Strength - Misfit has superhuman strength, which seems limited. It is said that the heaviest she can pick up is a car, so far anyways.
Healing Factor - This ability allows Misfit to not be hurt by things such as; stabbing, excessive blood wounds, diseases, guns, etc. Although it does have its weaknesses such as magic, and telepathy.
Known Abilities: None mentioned so far.
Strength Level: Metahuman
Weaknesses:
Naive - Misfit is still very naive, or as most people call it stubborn. She doesn't heed anyone's advice unless, she has to. And is very persistent at doing what she must. At times this is a very bad trait, seeing as a near death experience might teach her to follow instructions.
Inexperienced/ Power - Misfit has vast superhuman like powers. From her teleportation to her healing factor. But with great power comes great inexperience. Misfit doesn't have a profound knowledge on the extent of her abilities. This is another bad thing, where as a battle could ensue. Misfit not knowing her limitations, could make a fatal miscalculation. She is highly dependent on her powers also. It seems she has no previous defensive training. So if someone were to take them away her powers. Misfit would be quite defenseless.
Telepathy/ Magic - Misfit's healing factor immunes her from the typical human subdues. Such as; stabbing, guns, diseases, excessive blood wounds etc. But like most power houses, telepathy and magic can harm her. From the inside which would lead to out.
