History
Prologue
Dr. Thomas Elliot was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. Like Bruce Wayne, Elliot was born into a tremendously wealthy political family. Unlike Wayne, however, Elliot hated his parents as a boy. Driven by his desire for independence and wealth, he cut the brakes on his parents' car, convinced their chauffeur to stay home that night, causing a crash that killed his father. His mother was saved by Dr. Thomas Wayne, who tried in vain to save both parents, which enraged young Elliot. He took out that anger on Bruce, who promised Elliot that both would be saved, and he subsequently attacked his childhood friend.
To Bruce's amazement, Dr. Wayne scolded him when he fought back, and comforted Elliot like a father would a son, something Bruce never fully forgave his father for. Meanwhile, Elliot's anger was further fueled by the subsequent murder of the Waynes, which put Bruce Wayne in just the situation Elliot had hoped to create for himself. His hope of inheriting his family's fortune ruined, he decided to wait for his lucky day. Elliot's mother later succumbed to cancer. While he went on to Harvard and became a successful surgeon, Elliot continued to hold an irrational grudge towards his childhood friend for having the good fortune he never had. (exc, Wikipedia)
Birth of Owen
Dr. Truman Dep was born and raised in New York City, immediately interested in being a surgeon. Being raised in a rich family, Truman became a doctor household name, performing constant organ transplants at the ripe age of twenty-four, and offering no mistakes or faults during his operations. After completing many operations, it was then Truman met Erica Stone, the prodigy heir to Boris Stone, one of the most brilliant doctors to operate. After meeting together after a surgery, the two became acquainted, and eventually married. They moved to Beijing, China, after much oblige from their scholars, and became the top surgeons in the country. After living happily for two years in Beijing, Erica became pregnant, and bore Owen Dep, which the two then moved back to the US, to Gotham City.
Owen was a tedious, soft, and quiet child that absorbed his mother and father’s attributes, Erica quitting work to stay with Owen, and Truman going on in the doctor work. Happily living together, the two raised the baby with care, as days passed into weeks, weeks into months, and only a year had passed before everything began to slowly fall apart.
Truman had met a man almost completely like his own, going by the name Thomas Elliot, the two instantly became friends. They worked together as Truman had with his wife, the man eventually bringing Thomas home to meet his wife and child. When the scientist first laid eyes on the child, Tom almost immediately became obsessed with Owen. The way he walked, spoke, acted, almost everything was watched by Thomas as he had eventually moved in with the couple. His first act began with the shaping of Hush. After uniting with Joker, Elliot developed plans for the young child, putting out a fake act of kindness for the family, and taking to his room in deep secrecy. It was then Thomas began his plan, planting poison into Truman’s asthma medicine, and watching as his plan slowly unfolded before him. Truman became terribly ill, turning into worse conditions day after day, his performance in work and in front of his family crippling. He inched toward insanity, and was crawling with pain as Owen could only watch with horror day after day, Erica working in the hospital labs to find a cure.
Months passed, Truman grew weaker, and more insane as his form drew thin and drew closer to death as Thomas had planned. Then his plan was halted, Erica finally finding the cure, and injecting Truman with it with perhaps moments to spare. Enraged, Thomas shot Erica, but only in the legs, as she was paralyzed from the waist down. With persistency, Thomas reinserted the poison inside Truman, once again weakening him in a matter of days. With both parents almost completely unable to fight back, Thomas began to plague their minds. Only a year after his birth, Owen hadn’t an idea why his parents never smiled anymore, nor why they never rose from their beds, or why they never looked to him when he begged for their attention. Falling deep into depression, and death, Truman watched as his wife before him slowly died, and his son draw into a new persona.
Owen was now completely quiet, having barely any more emotion, and showing no more compassion as his mother lied on her deathbed. On his seventh birthday, Owen watched as his mother passed his way, Owen curled between his mother and father as he once had before Thomas had arrived. On her burial day, Owen was completely wiped of all emotion, now only showing the slightest build of love for his father, before submerging back into his shaped monotone. It was then, Thomas cornered a dying Truman, promising to treat the father with his antidote, only if he gave him the Dep fortune. Refusing, Truman was only met by the constant torture of watching his son being abused by Thomas, not beating, but etching words into his mind. Terrible thoughts, lies that darkened the young child as his heart slowly turned black, and his prodigy mind heightened. Thomas fed the child information in books, past books, and what lied beyond the books as Truman watched on.
Now transformed into Hush, Truman gave in, the millions of dollars now Thomas’ as his triumphant figure tortured that of his once friend. Watching as his father was injected with the antidote, Owen, for once, showed true happiness as he embraced his father after so long, then watched as his blood trickled down his arms. He was horrified to see a bullet hole lay in his father’s head, and cried his name as the thin body collapsed in his. At the age of eight, Owen witnessed his father and mother’s death, and his mind slowly falling into depression and insanity. Thomas had finally seen his chance, taking in the child, and training his mind and body to be elite as his own.
With both of the parents dead, Thomas began to alter Owen, taking him to his secret manor, as he taught him everything of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and any other hero that was to be known. He showed the child the art of thievery, deception, acrobatics needed to cut through the hardest of paths, also training himself to hunt down the hero vigilante of Gotham City. After five years, and at the age of fifteen, Owen was a powerful, almost inhumane being, Hush hiding him from the public as he latched his attack out against Batman.
Months later, Hush was defeated, and taken into the Arkham Asylum. Alone, Owen continued to train himself physically, waiting for the moment for his mentor to return. When Hush did return, he wasn’t pleased with the fact that Owen hadn’t continued with his tasks, and shot him out of anger. Bleeding to death, Owen fled away from Hush, away to an abandoned factory where he was saved by an unknown figure that restored him to his once health, and even raised his power to a powerful level. Owen was grateful, but he never did find out the identity of who this person was, as he or she had slipped away from the dying teenager, all Owen knowing was the person was just as old as he was.
Revenge as his prerogative, Owen took to the metropolis, and hunted down his once mentor. After an intensive argument and fight, Owen shot Hush, and the mentor was thought to be dead as the police was alerted to the factory. Taking in the stricken, fifteen year-old teenager, they took the child to the prison.
There, Owen was in constant fights, with both the inmates, and the security officers. After only a month, he was taken away to the Arkham Asylum, the same asylum that held his mentor, and constant other villains. Now considered a dangerous villain, Owen was enlisted a psychologist Doctor Rothschild, the doctor one of the best in his field as he dared take the mission of a troubled teenager. Confident that he could cure the child, three years passed, and he was still met with the same: Silence.
Intensing his treatment, Rothschild started with threats, syringes, and everything else he could do to make the now eighteen year-old say one word. Two years passed, and now at the age of twenty, Rothschild did the only mistakable action anyone could have done at the moment: He struck Owen, yelling for him to speak, just to say one word. That’s when he horrifyingly stumbled across Owen’s first spoken word to him: “Die”. With that, the man attacked his psychologist, beating his fist against the doctor’s head, over, and over, until blood started to puddle the ground and a four security guards dragged him away.
Owen, or as he now calls himself, Hush after his mentor, is now days away from his execution, and is hellbent on his onslaught on Gotham City, San Francisco, and every other man, woman, or child that stands in his way.
Characteristics
Age: 20
Height: 5”10
Weight: 175 lbs.
Eyes: Light Blue
Hair: Black
Unusual Features: When in his villainous form, Hush wears bandages over his entire face, and never takes it off unless completely necessary.
Personality: Owen is quiet, speaking his words whenever he intends to, and when he does, it has a cold, British accent. He is dark, cold, and as a result, is usually not outgoing or willing to speak to anyone unless they mean importance to him. This proves to be rare, since he has, in his own sense and words, been betrayed by enough people to shape his cold, forbidding figure. He shows no emotion, just as his words, to anyone he meets, unless he cares for them. His laugh and cry are barely heard, and if they are, it is soft, and light, as if he regrets it, however, he may also have a soft side to him underneath his cold, dark appearance. Unlike his mentor, Hush has no means of teaming up, but however, could be swayed to save the ones he loves, which is unfortunate, since he has never been truly loved, or loved, since his parent’s death. His fighting style is quick, precise, due to his intense training, and he always pushes himself to think through the situation, and try to unleash the best possible tactic against his enemy.

Powers
Known Powers: None, but possesses a brilliant mind, and a powerful build.
Known Abilities:
- Perfected Gun Aim: Hush has the perfected art of gun control, from automatic handgun, to the shotgun laser rifle, his favorite being the undermined pistol. His uncanny ability to aim for a certain object in a matter of time is considered to be the likes of the original Hush, maybe even higher.
- Agility and Maneuverability: Besides honing his weaponry masterfully, Owen is able to dodge a range of attacks and bullets with his flexible build. He can make jumps and breaks whenever needed, and can hold out three times his weight due to his powerful upper arm hold. He can make dead-sprints for escaping in a matter of seconds, can push off objects, such as walls, floors, or the ceiling itself in a powerful form with the greatest of ease. His gracefulness is almost unmatched by any other villain or hero, and his body build makes up for the fact he has no powers.
- Genius IQ: Besides his weaponry and agility, Hush has the mindpower of a man twice his age. His mind, although purged by the original Hush, is extraordinary brilliant, constantly buzzing during battle, and normal life. Feeding himself with battle tactics, as well as vast world documents, Owen researches on his opponents before fighting them, at least knowing most of the heroes and villains known to modern day date. His mind tactics allow him to make decisions at the drop of a hat, and his studies of battle form range from foreign country battle styles, such examples as Judo, Taijutsu, and simple Boxing itself.
Strength Level: Unable to tell, nor tested, his strength is nearly three times of a normal, powerful villain.
Weaknesses:- Without his weaponry, it takes Hush more time to defeat the enemy, as well as lowers his defense by a large majority. It is also easier to take down Hush without his gun, however, it would need to take a lot to separate Hush from his gun.
- As of now, since his break-out, Hush has a physically unstable body. his lower body is weaker then his upper, so from the waist down. So, until he has prepared himself physically, he can be taken down.
- He has no other armor, so almost anything can pierce his clothing.
- Besides being physically unstable, Hush is also mentally unstable from his failure with Dr. Rothschild, and if angered or provoked, can become uncontrollable. He himself can’t control his temper, or stability of mind, if rose to that boiling point.
- The farther away Hush is from his opponents, the better his he is able to react to an attack, and the easier he can fire his pistols.
Misc (optional)
Equipment: -none-
Transportation:-none-
Weapons: His only weapons is a pair of twin pistols, which is kept hidden at his sides at all times. However, he also restocks himself with different bullets at various situations listed as:- Metal Bullets: The weakest of his five bullets, Hush uses this only on certain situations, such as piercing the simplest of objects- Glass, weak metal, plastic, and other weak foundations.
- Exploding Bullets: These bullets, once fired, explode on impact, whether it be the densest of objects, or the lightest of an object. However, the bullet would need to hit a vast majority of the bullet in order to enact.
- Titanium Bullets: The stronger of his bullets, Hush uses this against more powerful, better built armor or substances. It can barely break through a bullet-proof glass, and can also pierce through an armored car, or any other vehicle in the city. However, it can be broken down by high temperatures, such as plasma, or it can be ousted by a more powerful bullet, such as laser.
- Promethium Bullets: His second-strongest, these bullets are almost completely indestructible to any other substance. It can pierce through many high-proofed substances, and if met with a higher armored object, can slowly break down with multiple bullets. A weakness for this bullet, as titanium, is high temperature objects, and can be outlasted by powerful energy projectiles, or any other weaponry.
- Laser Bullets: As the strongest bullets Hush uses, the laser bullets are adapted to his pistol to fire upon command, and can easily take out many objects with simple ease. Ten times more powerful then his promethium bullets, his laser bullets cannot be outlasted by a majority of objects, but of course, can be stopped by a thicker, more dense object. Even so, Hush can still lay out enough bullets to weaken the substance, and eventually take out the target.
Sample RP PostCodeword: - Metal Bullets: The weakest of his five bullets, Hush uses this only on certain situations, such as piercing the simplest of objects- Glass, weak metal, plastic, and other weak foundations.
- Without his weaponry, it takes Hush more time to defeat the enemy, as well as lowers his defense by a large majority. It is also easier to take down Hush without his gun, however, it would need to take a lot to separate Hush from his gun.
