Talia al Ghul sat on her own at a little café in Gotham city, watching the people move quickly by. It was early morning but people already where running late for their jobs, where they would become slaves to their bosses. Even though most hated their jobs, dreaming of what else they could do with their lives. The chances are they would forever be stuck in these dead in jobs, wishing to go hirer but never getting there. Talia had seen it many times in the years she had been alive, no one was ever truly happy with their life and always wished for something more. Talia had even become a victim to this form of wishing for something in her life to be different. These thoughts however where thoughts better left alone for those days when she had nothing better to do.
Talia raised the cup of coffee to her lips as she looked out over the city. This was truly the worse city in the world she was sure of it, and it was no wonder that her Father wanted to; say the less; blow it up and plow it into the ground. Talia on the other hand had mixed feelings around what to do with the city, she agreed with her father on most things, but her beloved; Batman; worked to prove that humanity wasn't really lost here. She couldn't understand why he worked so hard for people that loved him one day and then hated him the next. Though if Talia looked at her own life, she could ask herself the same thing concerning her own father. She didn't though, for there was no point right now to look into her own life, right now she was just enjoying a cup of coffee and waiting for something exciting to happen.
