Place of Birth: Markovia a tiny kingdom between Austria, Switzerland and Italy
Known Relatives: Denise Howard (wife), Viktor Markov (father, deceased), Gregor Markov (brother, deceased), Tara Markov (Terra, half-sister), Ilona (sister-in-law, deceased), Gregor Jr. (nephew)
History
A year after Tara's transformation, Markovia fell victim to the machinations of Baron Bedlam. The Baron kidnapped Batman's associate, Lucius Fox. Bedlam continued to seize power, resulting in the death of Brion's father, King Viktor. Before his death, he requested that Prince Brion find his half-sister Tara.
To this end, Dr. Jace duplicated her metahuman transformation process on him; Brion, in fact, became more powerful than his sister. He soon met Batman and several other adventurers who'd been drawn to Markovia. As the Outsiders, accompanied Batman to request aid from the Justice League. The League refused them, citing their policy of noninterference with internal national affairs. Batman chose to resign from the JLA, and led the Outsiders back to Markovia.
Before his defeat, Bedlam succeeded in using Jace's technology to also bestow himself with Earth-powers. When they wore off, Prince Brion tossed the villain to an angry mob. The Outsiders left Bedlam for dead, but his body was recovered and cloned by Dr. Ovnari.
Brion left with the Outsiders for America and left Markovia in the hands of his brother, Gregor (who was crowned king). There he enrolled in classes and met Denise Howard. Howard fell immediately in love with Brion, but her affections would remain unrequited for some time.
Though the Outsiders did band together with the New Teen Titans, Brion remained unaware of his sister's evil tendencies. He was not present when Terra effectively killed herself in a maelstrom of her own making. When Brion learned of her fate, the Outsiders gifted him with a new uniform, one not so similar to his sister's.
Brion's affections were derailed a couple time by his own teammates. Acting the protective brother, he once followed Halo on a date. When he was discovered, the two of them fought, then kissed. They quickly realized that they were not in love. At this time, he formed a closer bond with Denise Howard, who attempted suicide after being blackmailed by her professor.
When the clone of Baron Bedlam returned, he'd allied with the Masters of Disaster to overthrow Markovia. Geo-Force was enraged to learn that the Batman had kept this information from him. Their ensuing argument ended the Batman's association with the Outsiders; but the team decided to continue without him. Geo-Force became then leader of the Outsiders as they once again defended Markovia against the Baron's offensive, and Geo-Force was once again forced to slay Bedlam. The Outsiders were given medals by King Gregor and accepted his offer to become "unofficial agents" of the state. They would receive funding from the Markovian government, and moved to Los Angeles (where lay the Markovian embassy). Though they had grown closer, Brion left Denise behind in Gotham City.
In Denise's absence, Geo-Force was drawn to his new teammate, Looker. When the Outsiders were marooned on a island in the Indian Ocean for three weeks, the two shared an intimate moment. Things just didn't work out and they ultimately agreed to mutually end their romance.
Tragedy stuck once again for Markovia when the Manhunters awakened on Earth. Dr. Jace revealed that she was herself an agent of the Manhunters (though not an android) and killed King Gregor. Jace was killed in the battle, and Gregor's widow, Ilona, became queen of Markovia. In grief, Geo-Force disbanded the Outsiders.
When Brion next returned home with his girlfriend, Denise, he was just in time to help Dr. Kneidel at the Science Institute. She'd been cataloging and removing Dr. Jace's old equipment. Later at dinner, the castle was attacked the band of Gangsters-turned-ghosts, the Untouchables. They sought help from Jace's equipment to save one of their members (Clyde) from dying. After taking Denise hostage, Brion agreed to back down and thelp them. But when they got what they needed, the Untouchables tried to go back on the deal. Of course, Brion handily stopped them and took them into custody.
The team went their separate ways for about a year. Brion was reunited with Denise, to whom he proposed marriage. The Outsiders were also reunited in Markovia for the christening of Brion's nephew, Gregor Jr. This gathering quickly degenerated as the vampire Roderick framed the heroes for the murder of Queen Ilona. The Outsiders reformed again as fugitives from the law. Though they were able to return to the United States, Geo-Force was arrested by Commissioner Gordon upon arrival in Gotham.
He was imprisoned alongside some of his former foes in the Slab, including the Masters of Disaster. The Masters engineered a jailbreak and Brion took the opportunity to escape. He was soon cleared of the murder charge, but his arrest meant made his identity as Geo-Force public knowledge. The Outsiders were fractured again, but Brion remained allied with Katana and Technocrat. He relinquished leadership to Katana.
These three briefly clashed with their former teammates over the use of the "Outsiders" name. New threats effected their reunion, though the team was not as closely knit as in times past. Brion was critically injured in deep space, but returned to Earth just in time for his wedding to Denise. The team's adventures since then have gone largely undocumented. They have appeared in times of great Crisis, and may have added new members Dr. Light and Terra II—?!
Brion was incensed to learn that a new girl had claimed Terra's name and also joined the Titans. He came to blows with Arsenal and Green Lantern and demanded to meet their mysterious teammate. Darkstar Donna Troy intervened and convinced Terra to talk to Geo-Force. This new Terra bears a strong resemblance to the original, but her origins are shrouded in mystery. She managed to convince Brion that she was not his sister, but she was then captured by a Markovian group of scientists seeking to duplicate her powers. After rescuing Terra, the two "siblings" formed a bond, which continues to grow. Brion is thankful for the second chance to befriend his half-sister. Terra continues to worry about her origins and the possible connection to her evil predecessor. In fact, Geo-Force has since discovered that her DNA does match the original's! Until the truth can be uncovered, however, he has opted to keep this information from her.
Since this point Geo-Force has moved to the USA with Denise, and they now live in a palatial penthouse apartment in Manhattan as Denise has gotten a Job with S.T.A.R. Labs. Despite this Brion regularly flies back to Europe on the jet which his nephew has provided him with. He has taken to being Geo-Force full time both in the US and in Europe, though he only wears the Uniform when performing superhero work. Though he almost always has the uniform on him. As such he divides his time between fighting crime, his duties to his nephew, his wife and trying his best to raise awareness for the planet itself. As for money, he receives a more than generous stipend as a member of the Royal Family of Markovia and its repeated savior.

Age: 33
Height: 6’3”
Weight: Geo-Force has a mass of 205 lb; his weight is entirely up to him.
Eyes: A dark blue
Hair: Sandy blonde
Unusual Features: None
Personality: Brion was born to the Purple, in one of the last true Kingdoms in the World. To a degree this makes him arrogant in certain situations, assuming automatic primacy for example and expecting his opinion to be listened too. He is though no Black Adam and since spending more time out in the world this attitude has slowly faded to a degree, particularly once someone earns his respect and trust he will be more than willing to follow their lead, a prime example of this is Batman whom Brian holds in extremely high regard. He can though occasionally slip back into the arrogant mode around strangers or when under a good deal of stress.
He is a very family orientated person, he will do anything to protect them, the same goes for his friends and his homeland. Though he has this strong sense of duty he is a happy go lucky hero who gets a great deal of enjoyment from his ‘work’. He also is something of an environmentalist on the ‘big issues’ such as Global warming.
Unlike many heroes Geo-Force is willing to kill when he sees no other choice, though he does not enjoy killing he will feel no remorse for the death of someone truly evil.
Powers
________________________________________
Known Powers: The work of Dr. Jace activated the latent meta-gene within the Markov bloodline, establishing a direct connection between Brion and the Earth itself. This manifests itself in several ways, which can be viewed as Geo-Force having the same ‘powers’ as the Earth itself. It is important to note all of Geo-Force’s powers are all enhanced if he is in direct contact with the earth itself and taking a moment to draw power into himself. He must be still to do this and it is a ‘pulling out all the stops measure..
Known Abilities: Brion was raised in one of the richest political families in Europe, as such he is knowledgeable about political institutions and about Global markets, as well as more trivial matters such as which knife to use and what to call your aunts cousin.
He is also a skilled leader, both of teams, military forces and once of a country.
He can also fly a plane.
Strength Level: Geo-Force’s strength level is superhuman, comparable with the rest of the Top tier.

It is important to note all of Geo-Force’s powers are all enhanced if he is in direct contact with the earth itself and taking a moment to draw power into himself. He must be still to do this and it is a ‘pulling out all the stops measure..
- Super Human Strength: this varies; with his feet firmly rooted on solid ground and amping his abilities with his Gravity based abilities he is comparable to Superman himself, though on the main he is more of a peer of Wonder Woman.
- Durability: Although he is bullet proof they will leave a bruise, akin to a paintball bruise on a normal human, he is though more resistant to blast trauma and blunt force trauma.
- Gravity Manipulation: Brion is able to tap into and manipulate the Gravity of the Earth itself, to either strengthen or weaken its effects. He can apply this in two main ways, firstly on a specific object, either making it greatly heavier to say pin an opponent under their own mass, or lighter to lift some titanic object. Secondly there is a more area based use, for example turning gravity up in an area to make it impassable or allowing his companions to leap across a canyon by dropping gravity across it.
This requires varying level of concentration, the larger the object or the area he is trying to affect and the greater the change from the natural levels. Although it is comparatively easy to cause null gravity but increasing the level of gravity requires progressively more effort and focus. So although it is only a mild effort to say force three or four ordinary people to the ground. It would take complete focus to say use his powers to suppress a mob or pin a Meta Human, anyone with a strength level of six or above he couldn’t pin even with no distractions and great effort, they would though find their limbs heavy and their movement slowed. In terms of the area the largest he is able to affect, again only with total concentration is approximately that of a circle one hundred meters in diameter. - Lava Blasts: so named for their source rather than their appearance, in much the same way that Brion is capable of channeling the heat from within the earth through his hands. These blasts normally come out at around 900°C although with a little effort he can drive them all the way up to 4,000°C. With his feet planted on the ground and with total concentration he can bring them up to the highest temperatures found in the Core itself 6,000°C. Though this requires concentration. He can use this power in either direct blasts or to merely raise the temperature of his hands. Normally when he uses this his hands tint red although the higher the temperatures the brighter they turn, till they are white hot at full power.
- Flight: Through manipulation of these last two abilities Brion is able to fly at speeds of up to 500 MPH, this is though extremely tiring and he cannot travel more than a thousand miles without coming close to exhaustion.
- Union with the Earth: Brion has died once, when he did he was buried only to have the earth nurture him, repair him and effectively recharge him. It returned him to life. It is unknown whether this was a one off and indeed the very nature of Brion’s mortality is in question. In addition he can feel major disturbances in the earth, such as large meteor impacts or earthquakes.
Weaknesses:
- Connection to the Earth: While Geo-Force is at his strongest when he is firmly on solid earth ground, his powers and health will deteriorate if he is taken off earth for a long period of time. In such instances, Geo-Force will die unless he returns to earth in time.
- Hot headed: Brion does have a temper which can make him bait able and vulnerable to mind games, he is also prone to getting emotionally involved in situations where a cool head and rational thinking would be better.
- Mostly human: Although Brion is remarkably resistant to blunt trauma and extremes of temperature, his skin is still vulnerable to piercing weapons wielded with enough force. He also needs to eat, breath and sleep.
