June is distinctly smaller and less intimidating in form than the Enchantress, and features blonde hair. The Enchantress has red-black hair and a distinct outfit, compared to June who wears ordinary civvies and contemporary fashions. As of late, however, June has appeared less and less. Also, if separated off from June, the Enchantress - and the loose definition of whatever it is, ghost, spirit, witch - appears as a grotesque old crone who steadily becomes more and more terrifying the longer she is separated off from June, to the point where it appears like a truly demonic entity. BEHAVIOR PROFILE[/style][STYLE= margin: 0px 10px 0px 10px; border: 2px solid #191919; padding: 2px; font-family: verdana; height: 125px; overflow: auto; font-size: 11px; color: #000000; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; opacity: 0.8]June Moone is a woman of two halves. Thereabouts, she thinks. On the surface, there is no distinct difference between the regular June Moone and her usual attitude in her guise as the Enchantress - In this sense, it is akin to Billy Batson acting through the body of Captain Marvel; The appearance changes, but the attitude stays the same. And June Moone is perhaps the ultimate in jaded post-adolescents, perhaps with good reason. She set out upon gaining her powers to be a good person, to try and make the world a better place, and she feels that she has been distinctly crapped on in return; Because of one incident - more like several, she admits, but it is the most recent one that has seen a distinct change in her attitude - she was looked down upon by the likes of the Justice League and beaten down because of 'her inability to control herself'. Her former companions in the Shadowpact were seemingly happy to do away with her, and overall, all of them were happy to commit June to Belle Reve and not try to help her themselves. Whilst June is more mature than some, the treatment she has received from the people she thought she could trust is nothing short of a betrayal, for her. As such, this has led June to the Secret Society's door, and whilst these were the very people she used to fight against, June reasons that it is at least best to know you're sitting in a nest of vipers rather than having people unexpectedly turn on her. As such, her sense of trust isn't going to feel nearly as violated, and curiously, she is finding the Society to be somehow broader than she expected. In one sense, she views it as more of a union, with people from various backgrounds, with various powers and the like all grouping together for mutual benefit. That is not, of course, to say she particularly trusts anyone; There are maybe a handful she gets along with, and she is less than interested in playing amongst the big leagues. Her membership in the Secret Society is, then, rather more about her than anything else. And it has, with a few exceptions, always been this way; June has generally always been one to altruistically throw her life on the line for the sake of the planet, even throwing herself into opposition with the Spectre, but she has always done it with heaps of deprecation, scorn and mockery. In this sense, it could be that she's never entirely trusted anyone that she's worked around, and prefers to keep them at a distance with cruel remarks and a vile attitude. She was always rather distant from those around her in the Shadowpact, which were, up to a point, the closest-knit team she worked with; In some ways, this distance probably suits her best, but she has found that even being part of a team is not necessarily something she feels comfortable with now. She still likes the notion of being a 'hero', but she feels that she will need to do it on her terms, to basically use the Society's resources whilst keeping them at a distance. At the same time, June has something of a dark side, something that has effectively been in place for years, quite beyond the split nature of June Moone and the 'true' Enchantress. She reasons that her dark side is probably akin to that of any superhuman, but truthfully, not many lose control as completely as she does; When overusing magic, she basically taps into the entity that is the Enchantress, and can become incredibly violent and vicious, capable of anything as she seemingly seeks to maintain control of June's body. Truthfully, the Enchantress as an entity seems to merely amplify or magnify particular traits of June's personality, such as a slight touch of misandry; Whilst most of the men June has tended to work with often receive the same level of scorn and mockery as the women she worked with, when she 'loses control', men do seem to be particularly targets of hers. June doesn't tend to maintain relationships for very often for these reasons, seemingly, although again, it's worth noting that she doesn't particularly get along with either gender. However, despite her problems with control over magic, June is quite confident and believes in herself when it comes to using magic; She has, over the past several years, been through a great variety of experiences that have enabled her to truly develop her skills as a sorceress, and whilst she lacks the real long-term experience of older magic-users, she has the attitude to back her skills up; Again, not many have taken on the Spectre and Eclipso at once, by her age. As such, again, June is definitely not the best sorceress in the world, but she has developed a broad variety of skills and applications for her power; June is also not entirely stupid, and tries frequently to avoid losing herself to the Enchantress wherever possible, and has willingly taken on a variety of focusing and concentration techniques to enable her to maintain her composure, in a fight or whatever she may be doing; She also enjoys mediation in her down time, and actively prefers it to relaxing in other ways. Anything, she feels, is better than losing herself to the Enchantress. The Enchantress is in itself difficult to discuss; On occasions the entity seems to act almost like an alternate personality to June, and on others, it seems to act like some manner of demonic possession, taking control of June's body and using it how it see fits. The Enchantress - whatever it may be - is oddly contradictory, and does not seem to mind using and abusing June's body when it gets the chance, using her to carry out an oddly warped agenda of trying to violently harm all those around it, but at the same time, is incredibly defensive of June, and on the one occasion she has been separated from June, has violently fought to retake June's body; It is unclear whether or not the Enchantress decisively needs June as a host due to the manner in which they were joined several years ago, but it will fight tooth and nail - literally, in some grotesque instances - to keep her safe from harm. Amongst her and her friends - who all playfully practiced so-called 'witchcraft' with no real seriousness and did it merely for fun, seeing if they could get themselves boyfriends or change their hair colours or something equally mundane - the faux-castle was known as the 'Terror Castle', and was inhabited by all manner of creatures, ghosts and even demons. During a nocturnal visit arranged by the school and the tourist board, June was separated from her friends and accidentally found herself in a weirdly unmarked corridor, that seemed to go on and on forever. Eventually, she reached a door, and found herself in an old, dusty chamber that reeked of blood and magic and pure nature; Locked in, she found herself confronted by the demon, Dzamor. He proclaimed that June was going to be a mystic defender of justice, and despite June's protests, that she was only seventeen, he nonetheless imbued her with massive levels of magical power, capable of being accessed simply by saying 'Enchantress' with the correct intent. Of course, so much power in such a young woman was never likely to go all too well, and whilst June worked admirably at first, hiding her abilities as best she could from her friends and working secretly as a vigilante at night or whenever she could manage; But the stresses of managing both lifestyles - that of student and superhero, soon began to weigh on her, and June finally snapped in the final days of high school, becoming the Enchantress and threatening to destroy her school and kill hundreds of innocents; She was stopped by the timely intervention of the Suicide Squad, and after the appropriate measures had been taken, June was actively offered a position on the team. Believing she had no life in the outside world now, her attempt at balancing her life having ended disastrously and ruining her chances of going to college, she agreed to join the Squad. And for a time, she was pretty satisfied. June developed a decent rapport with the team, and worked alongside them for several years, honing her abilities without incident. And then suddenly, one day, as quickly as June had gained her powers, they disappeared. The Squad were naturally somewhat disappointed, but after some bureaucracy was handled, June was set free. It eventually transpired after a year or so that Dzamor had originally intended June's abilities for someone else, and had revoked them before finding her unworthy. As such, a year after she had left the Squad, her abilities returned. June quickly accustomed herself to them, just in time to join in against the fight against the Spectre, driven mad by Eclipso and sent on a rampage to destroy all magic. She played a pivotal role in stopping him, despite the threat of nearly being driven mad once more, and eventually co-founded a team called the Shadowpact, working alongside that group to develop countermeasures to all manner of magical threats. And then everything got turned upside down again; Thrown into some manner of reality altering event, June Moone emerged from the other side somehow separated from the Enchantress, and the entity itself went on a rampage before it was eventually rejoined with June; However, the Justice League, not understanding the situation, struck her down in what June would come to regard as a brutal fashion, and even after all she'd done, they simply dumped her in Belle Reve Institute. At least, she told herself, it wasn't Arkham. However, June was approached in her room by several members of the Secret Society who, whilst knowing of her formerly superhero credentials, appealed to her on the basis that the likes of the Justice League didn't deserve her, and that it was time to be her own person. And so, June finds herself at the Society's door...[/style] [STYLE=color: #191919; font-size: 10px; margin-top: 10px; margin-left: 10px;]POWERS AND ABILITIES[/style][STYLE= margin: 0px 10px 0px 10px; border: 2px solid #191919; padding: 2px; font-family: verdana; height: 125px; overflow: auto; font-size: 11px; color: #000000; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; opacity: 0.8] KNOWN POWERS: June Moone is capable of tapping into the powers of the Enchantress in a similar fashion to Billy Batson calling out 'Shazam' to gain the power of Captain Marvel; When she says 'Enchantress' with the intent of transforming into the sorceress, she physically changes, and takes on an extreme level of magical power that grants her a variety of abilities. These are listed below, whilst the effects of taking on said magic in terms of affecting her physical characteristics are displayed in the brighter green on the power grid;
