A wave of foreboding passed through Gemini as she stared at the brightly lit prison from her vantage point in some bushes in the prison car park. She had broken into such facilities before and never found it difficult, but tonight things were different; she had company. Normally Gemini worked alone or occasionally partnered up with someone who she trusted to get the work done, but in this case the person who’d hired her had insisted on accompanying her to get the job done.
Looking over at her companion on tonight’s job, Gemini was starting to think that she shouldn’t have taken this job at all. The woman was dressed in a garish clown costume complete with makeup; how she ever expected to break into the facility unnoticed was beyond Gemini. The Gotham clowns also had a reputation as being dangerously psychotic and she could almost hear her mother’s voice in the back of her mind warning her against working with them. But she supposed it was too late to back out now.
“Do you have a plan or are you leaving it all to me?” she asked the clown snidely, her lips twisting in an involuntary sneer as she looked at her. If this job went pear shaped because of that stupid costume then she was not going to waste any effort saving this employer from capture. She only hoped that this clown had a plan which was more rational than the way she looked.

Harley shot Gemi next to her a look and rolled her eyes. She force didn't have a joke to crack or something joker-like to say. She merely turned her attention back to the jail house and looked out at the area. She was formulating a plan, but it was a bit choppy and some of the bigger pieces would have to be worked out, but they could do it on the fly who needed master plans anyway? Winging it worked just as well...at least hopefully.
Removing the binoculars she fixed her partner with a grin worthy of the Joker. She could play dumb, but she didn't want to, not tonight, she wanted to show that even though she was a clown, she had brains too, along with the crazy unorthodox weapons.
"Yes, I've got a plan, we'll use the front door."
The way she said it was though it was the easiest thing in the world and Gemini over there was an idiot for not figuring that out. Harley only wanted the secret device that was housed in that prison. The Joker needed it and damn if she was going to let him get it himself, he had other things he needed to worry about in his plan to take over Gotham, one step at a time.
This was step 4, and all they had to do was get inside and get the device it should be a piece of cake, all they had to do was deal with the guards and the large walls and barbed wire in their way.
Harley's plan was far more in depth than simply using the front door, but first they had to get inside and time was ticking.

“You want to use the front door?” Gemini shot Harley a sceptical look, her eyes wandering over the woman’s very conspicuous clothing. “You realise that those guards are armed, bullets won’t do hurt me, but all those holes will kill you in an instant.” Gemini’s tone was distinctly sneering as she spoke about the bullets; it was pathetic just how fragile people were and she disliked having to work with one without powers of their own.
“What do you want me to do, walk up there and take all the bullets for you?” she rolled her eyes dismissively. Gemini wasn’t feeling like contributing anything else constructive; normally she’d slip in disguised as a guard dog or an actual guard, if she wanted to she could simply step over the walls by elongating her legs, but Harley was paying her and for the moment that meant she did as the clown wanted, for the moment.
“Whatever happens I'm not becoming a giant clown and smashing through the wall" she grumbled, her irritation getting the better of her along with her impatience to get started.

Harley had patience but even that was wearing a little thin. The woman had been hired for her skills, not for her to give any lip about what she said. She had a grand want to fill that loud mouth of hers with a bit of tar and goose feathers, anything she could think of to get her to shut up, maybe even going so far as to cut out the little pink tongue of hers. She couldn’t help the grin that came across her features at her own thoughts.
“Just get us inside; I don’t care how you do it, just do it. It’s what you’re getting paid for isn’t it?”
Her eyes twinkled in the dim light, she pulled a weapon from a bag at her hip, it looked like some sort of mini grenade launcher, and it was to an extent. It would shot a compact ball that looked like a grenade but no it didn’t explode, it released the lovely joker gas that Mister. J himself had created. She wouldn’t be using this bad boy yet, not these and the other toys involved getting inside the first gate, it may be used after they were inside but they would see what happened as things played out.
They just needed to get inside and Gemini was wasting time, time they didn’t exactly have at the moment. Stand up she leaned casually against the car next to the bush they’d been hiding in. Her eyes glanced to a large watch that adorned her wrist; clearly it wasn’t hers far too big to be hers. It no doubt belonged to the Joker and why he’d given it to her, you could only guess.

If Harley didn’t know how they were going to get in then that gave Gemini an excuse to use one of her more unpleasant tricks, she just needed a prison guard to ‘volunteer’ their likeness and she and Harley could walk in. It seemed like she was in luck; a car was turning into the parking lot and a balding overweight male guard the same height as Harley climbed out and fumbled with his keys to lock his car. Gemini’s arms were across the parking lot and pulling the guard into the bushes before he had even realised what had happened and moments later the guard was dead before he even hit the ground.
Looking over at Harley, Gemini gave a perfectly fake friendly smile as she carelessly tossed the body deeper in the bushes. “Allright I’ll get you both inside, but I’m going to need you to hold still.” Gemini didn’t give Harley any time to react, lunging at the clown as her body expanded and flattened like a pancake, wrapping around the woman and flattening down over her hair bunches, skin and clothing. Rubber swirled around Harley’s face and adhered to skin, altering outwardly to mimic the features and uniform of the dead guard, forming a near perfect disguise. She left only Harley’s eyes and mouth exposed; flowing over the clown and completely encasing her in what might feel like a bizarre living version of an body wetsuit.
“Don’t struggle” she hissed into Harley’s ear and started to walk the clown over to a car wing mirror where she should be able to see the guard’s reflection looking back and understand what she had done, providing the clown wasn’t completely panicking-wouldn’t that be a shame.
Setting off with a slow and stiff walk towards the prison entrance, Gemini pressured the woman inside her to move with her. “It’s best if you let me steer” she whispered mockingly into the woman’s ear. Even if the other woman wanted control Gemini wouldn’t let her; she was physically stronger and this was the quickest way to get them both into the prison. Harley could object all she wanted, but imprisoning her ‘employer’ like this appealed to Gemini's warped sense of humour, she really didn't care if the clown hated it, in fact that would make it even better.
Waving at the guards she passed, Gemini pointed at her throat and shook her head to show a serious sore throat (she hadn’t bothered to copy the guard’s voice) and headed through an opening door into the prison. “Where now?” she whispered into Harley’s ear, not sure where the clown wanted them to go.
