He often feels better than others that he is around, like they should bow and treat him with respect him naturally. He treats Batman's sidekicks like isolate fools, feeling that he is the only one that deserves to be at his side since he is the son of the bat. This leads to many conflicts, misunderstandings, and fights between them. Batman usually has the last word in the matters. That attitude if you were to look underneath it you’d find that Damian more than anyone wants to be accepted and finds it hard to share the man he’s never met until the age of 15. He wasn’t raised like anyone else and thus finds it hard to relate to other kids or people his own age, and even then he doesn’t quite know how to properly mingle with others in society even those that are older. It takes some getting used to be able to look around the snarky comments and if anyone where to step back and take a real look at what he does, they’d be able to see that Damian is vastly jealous of the relationships others have with his father when to him Bruce is still a stranger, still someone he doesn’t understand. He acts out for attention, to show that he is better than everyone else, that he feels he has to prove himself. Damian is despite his vast skills he is insecure on his standing with Bruce, and wants to be accepted, to be loved and that is not something Bruce has ever had to deal with, he’s been a mentor, a protector but never a true father not in the way that he knows how to deal with it. He is rather sensitive and it is easy to get him riled up and he hides his hurt feelings with anger and indifference when in fact you dug that knife a little too deep. Damian's true goal in life is that of any sons idolizing his father; acceptance. Though it maybe comes out wrong due to his raising, he just wants to be a part of Bruce's life, Batman's life. Damian strives to be seen in Bruce's eyes not only as a son, but as his future. He now struggles every day to prove that to his father. DOCUMENTED HISTORY Bruce Wayne and Damian patrol Gotham City as Batman and Robin for the first time together. They struggle with the exploration of their father-son dynamic, as Bruce tries to become a more positive role model. Trying to instill trust and compassion in Damian, he buys him a dog named Titus. They're targeted by the assassin NoBody, a son of Bruce's mentor Henri Ducard who believes that the super-hero crusade is insane and all criminals must be murdered. Taking advantage of Robin's brutal nature as a trained killer, he tries to convince the young vigilante to switch sides and join his cause. Accepting the invitation, the two set out to apprehend a foreign diplomat accused of human trafficking who escapes punishment through diplomatic immunity. The two apprehend the man, Morgan handing Damian a gun and telling him to shoot the man. Pulling the trigger, the gun is found to be unloaded. NoBody returns to his hideout with Damian and the diplomat, interrogating the man before deciding to kill him by dunking him in a tank of acid. Damian objects to this, attacking Morgan, but is quickly overpowered. He reveals that he had been leading Morgan on the whole time, making note of his R symbol's GPS tracker and radio transmitter that he had been using to broadcast their location to his father the whole time. Enraged by the betrayal, Morgan begins to slowly torture Damian, describing the acts to Batman as he makes his way to the boat they are on. Before Morgan can kill the boy, Batman drives through the side of the ship and begins battle. He ultimately defeats Morgan, only stopping from killing the man after the realization that Damian is still watching what is happening. As they begin to leave, Morgan taunts Damian, saying he will return some day to kill the both of them, further angering Damian by provoking him to kill him. Ultimately, Robin decides to end the man's life, apologizing to his father for killing once again. They return to Wayne Manor, injured. Damian is severely injured, and is cared for by Alfred. He begs Bruce Wayne to care for him, but Bruce demands he care for Damian. Though he only cared for Damian's health, he eventually falls to the ground in pain. Alfred tested him for serious injuries, though none were present. Bruce was able to stand again, but was in pain. In attempt to show Damian he cares, he makes recordings for him stating his true feelings. Damian listens to all of them, showing he cares too. For the first time ever, Bruce shines light upon his father's den. Damian asks him what he is doing, and he responds finishing what he started: getting rid of the darkness. Damian acknowledges that Bruce wanted to kill Morgan Edge in London after he shot him, and Bruce says also after what he did to Damian. He explains that for years he has held back to urge to kill, even though it would make it much easier. But he made a promise to himself to never kill and to live by certain principles. Damian tries to understand, and eventually does, saying he wants to be like Bruce, and has "always wanted to be like him..." establishing the father-son bond they had seldom felt before. Damian describes it as "And here I thought we didn't like each other." But Bruce describes it as "We don't understand each other." Damian asks Bruce to not give up on him, and Bruce says he has no intention to. Bruce wants Damian to feel like a true son, and decides to engage in regular household activities together. Damian is confused as to what they could do, but after a moment of thought, Bruce says something mundane, which turns out to be fetch with their newly-named dog Titus. After a fun game of fetch, Damian, Bruce, and Alfred notice the Bat-signal in the sky, and despite Alfred's wishes, they run off into the night. Bruce's relationship and Damain's is still strained from his actions against NoBody, Morgan Ducard, but Bruce has agreed to not give up on him and they are trying to work through it. Damian continues to hold the Robin mantle and continues to struggle with finding himself and who he wants to be. POWERS AND ABILITIES KNOWN POWERS: None KNOWN ABILITIES:
|
[/li][li]Martial Arts: Trained by the League of Assassins, Damian has stated he knows just as many martial arts as Batman and can use them more effectively. This may be a largely overstated comment but one shouldn't ask for verification.
[/li][li]Mimicry: Damian can imitate anyone's voice and speech patterns perfectly as he imitated Tim Drake's voice in order to gain access to a chamber only Tim was allowed into.
[/li][li]Stealth: Damian was able to sneak into Gotham City and furthermore into the Batcave virtually undetected until he felt necessary. Of all the Robins, Damian may be the one that is the most silent.
[/li][li]Swordsmanship: Damian assaulted both Tim Drake and Bruce Wayne on separate occasions with his sword, apparently the same sword used by Ra's al Ghul. Although Damian no longer uses his sword he may be unmatched with one if armed correctly.
[/li][li]Throwing: Damian is trained by the League of Assassins in shuriken throwing and further trained by Batman in Batarang throwing. [/li][/ul]
STRENGTH LEVEL: That of an athletic kid of his age and stature.
WEAKNESSES:
- Headstrong:
[/li][li]Nervous System Control: Talia al Ghul allowed her son to become Robin with the intention of creating the greatest warrior known to man under her complete control. Realizing that her motherly instinct would not be enough to control Damian she implanted devices into his spinal cord as a fail-safe if he would ever betray her. These implants control Damian's entire motor system.[/li][/ul]
Damian has grown up being treated with respect and nobility like a prince. With a father like Batman and a grandfather like Ra's Al Ghul he has a big future and a path he needs to choose. Because of the way he has been raised he is precocious, violent, and spoiled.
His violent behavior has gotten him into many altercations with Tim Drake and other Batman sidekicks. He does not care if he hurts anyone along the way to getting what he wants, most of this attributes to being raised by assassins. His mother spoils him rotten filling his head with thoughts of grandeur. His body has been growing rapidly, almost too fast for his maturity level. His age shows out in his rash decisions and quick temperament.
Damian's ultimate undoing is his obsession with his father Bruce Wayne/Batman. Damian wants to be accepted by him, taught by him, raised by him, loved by him. For this Damian does almost anything and everything to join his father's side and be his next protege. Damian is often made fun of by the other sidekicks, but they help him when they are told to. Damian feels he is the only one that deserves to be at Batman's side, this drives him to many of his mistakes trying to impress Batman.

EXAMINATION RECORD
Hood pulled up low over his eyes, he arched his body over the gargoyle he was currently perched on, gloved hands curled around the head of the beast. His body still, yet tense as he listens to the sounds of the city below him. His breaths uneven and fast, his heart still pounding in his chest from his climb up here and the run he’d taken to get here. He wasn’t supposed to be out here, not tonight, Batman’s orders…Nightwing had reinstated his mentor’s words, his father’s orders. He frowned, and his teeth ground together in his frustration at coming second, at being just a kid, he felt like he wasn’t good enough for his father, that deep, deep down inside perhaps Nightwing and Red Robin were better them him, better sons then he was. He was Bruce’s son, Bruce was his father and that didn’t seem to matter, he was his real son and it was like he was second best, second rate, and that pissed him off.
His fist struck the head of the creature he had been resting on. He snarled out his anger and didn’t give much thought to the drop, but he pushed off with his hands and his feet throwing his body outward and feeling the wind catch his hood and throw it back revealing his mask hidden eyes and his black hair. The wind hit him in the face and he let himself fall the several hundred feet.
”He's reckless…Batman…Bruce he doesn’t follow orders.”

The wind hit him in the face and he let himself fall the several hundred feet.
”He's reckless…Batman…Bruce he doesn’t follow orders.”
Nightwing’s words came into his mind as he let himself fall, like one might when jumping out of a plane with a parachute. The small smile that had graced his lips at his daring feat vanished as did any excitement he’d been feeling. He hadn’t been supposed to be over hear the words spoken in the study. Grayson hadn’t removed his suit, just the mask covering his eyes. Batman hadn’t done much better, he’d simply pulled down his hood, and his gloved hand rubbing is face tiredly as he watched Grayson and Drake with a weary expression in his eyes, but his face hadn’t given much away.
”If it wasn’t for Dick I’d have a taken quite the hit, and Damian was right there. He doesn’t know what real teamwork is Bruce”
Then Drake had to throw in his two cents as well; he’d been frustrated and angry at Damian, nearly punching the young boy for the comments he'd made about him. He was wondering what Dick hadn’t voiced, did he really want them out of Bruce’s life that badly that he’d not help them in a battle? That question needed to be raised and it didn’t get an answer as it hung in the silence.
The young Robin found his finger dispensing the trigger of his grappling hook, his body jerking violently with the sudden dip in momentum as his body curved to the left. Hands curling around the butt of the gun, he used this change of momentum to lunch his small lethal body into the air, as he somersaulted in the air before his feet touched the landing of the smaller building he was on. He pushed the cloak past his hands and ran across the roof, his arms swinging with the natural movements of his body. He leapt the short distance to the next building and landed heavily on his right foot, the landing wasn’t smooth, it was sloppy and it had him spiraled out on the roof, his pride wounded, as he started to pick himself back up. His blue eyes glaring down at the roof tiles, as if it was the whole buildings fault he’d fallen in the first place.
His fist hit the roof and he hit it one more time for good measure. His robin’s cape spiraled around his body like a sort of security blanket that only succeeded in making him angrier.
“We need to talk.”
As Damian looked up and around him he saw that, it wasn’t just his father here; no it was everyone. Everyone that made up his dysfunctional family, and he wasn’t pleased with the judging looks he was getting. [/div]
