Powers and Abilities
Known Powers: No known super-human abilities.
Known Abilities:
Skilled in Weapons: Hell, yes she is. Besides being taught how to fight. She was taught about what to fight with. Not quite as skilled as the Batman with weapons, she certainly knows her way around them. Whether if it’s a crossbow, or a just a metal bar. Give her anything; she’ll make it a deadly weapon.
Marksmanship: When you think of Huntress you think of the crossbow. When you think of the crossbow. You think of her arrows that are probably going to be shot at you. Helena has been trained in the art of shooting, and is one of the best marksman you'll see. She is able to shoot her target whether it is five feet or thirty feet away. This does not limit it down to just her crossbow though. Helena is handy with the bows and arrows, throwing knifes, and once batarangs. She has great aim, and it’s the target practically every time. It’s only normal after all of the years of practice.
English Degree from University of Palmero: Okay, okay, I get it. You’re probably thinking what is an English degree going to do as Huntress. Well, besides noticing grammar mistakes in the criminal notes. She can use that lovely degree to get numerous jobs, foremost an English teacher. So as you can see this doesn't really help the Huntress, more like Helena Bertinellli.
Motor Skills: The mistress of the night, knows how to ride anything given too her. Whether it be a motorcycle, like she prefers. Or an old Volkswagen, you give to her she can drive it. Helena learned at the age of fourteen how to drive a motorcycle, and learned at the age of sixteen how to drive a car. She knows much about both. Able to repair any vehicle if she has too.
Pilot: It wasn't necessarily a skill that Huntress has always has. But being on the Birds of Prey teaches you a thing or too. Whilst Zinda drives her pilot, Helena has always been observant to watch her. If any case she would have to pilot a plane she would be ready.
Intimidation: Helena is quite good at scaring information out of her foes. She uses her voice, her appearance, and even pain to strike fear into the heart of criminals, much like Batman. It was Batman that originally inspired Helena, and he secretly still does.
Interrogation: Huntress is very good at getting information from enemies. Though she likes using pain to get information, she is skilled with bribery, lying, and "bending the truth" to get what she wants to know.[/ul]
Strength Level: Average for a woman who works out very hard every day.
Weaknesses:
Too much rage: You think you've seen the Huntress mad think again. She has so much pent up anger, that many people have not tasted the full wrath of Helena Bertinelli. However, when the full extent does come out. She tends to over do her job. In other words, she causes severe injuries too many. And if someone really pisses her off, well killiing that person is certainly on of her choices.
Impulsive: My, oh my is she impulsive. Helena jumps into situations without realizing that there are two sides of a story. At times, she may even attack the innocent thinking they are the guilty. Or if there is something that is dangerous that needs to be done. She will do it without consulting anyone else. She just doesn't think things through, this might get her killed one day. But for now it is a trait of hers, that has kept her as the Huntress for this long.
Past Memories: Helena watched her entire family being slaughtered before her young eyes. It was a mark that would never leave her. Although, she has since be rid of those nightmares that come to relive that night. Every now and than the horrific memories of the past creep up in her mind somehow.[/ul]
Accessories
Equipment:
Transportation:
Weapons:
Knives: Hooo doggy, does she have an assortment. From easy little pocket knifes, to macheti's. Each one is sharpened and ready to use if she has too. Don't make her.
Twin-Pistols: These she rarely uses, but if the occasion calls for it she will use these. A bit more deadlier than her crossbow, Helena has these in her costume just in case. They are apparently twin pistols, all fully loaded, hand crafted. Both were stolen from her cousin's house.
Metallic Staff: Often used when she is against a crowd of people. This staff is very, if not extremely useful. Helena being trained in the art of using a bo staff, can use this to swipe anyone off there feet, and leave a few bruises here and there. But again, this is usually used when the odds are against her.[/ul]

It wasn't a fire, just some smoke to cover for them. She would have smelled the building burning by now, had it been on fire. The men, of course, grabbed their weapons and began firing at her. She wasn't surprised at all. In fact, she was prepared. Huntress fired her crossbow at one of the men and hit him in the wrist with two arrows. He cried out in agony and then dropped to the ground. One down, five more to go.
Huntress jumped into the air after noticing her cape had been hit more than once; way too close for comfort. As she came down to the ground, she swung her left foot upwards and knocked a guy four feet backwards. Huntress then landed but was hit in the forearm by a bullet. She gasped and turned to the side. The smoke had cleared by now and Huntress could see the pure fear in the man's eyes.
Suddenly, a van came screeching towards the group of men and then slammed on the brakes, stopping inches from Huntress. She knew it wasn't going to hit her, that's why she stayed put. The side doors slid open and three men poured out. Two of the men were holding children, bound and gagged. Huntress gasped, seeing they were both students in her class. The man holding nothing grinned. He approached Huntress, who was holding everything back not to kill him.
"What's wrong, Huntress? If you don't want to see these innocent children hurt, drop your weapon and surrender."
Life sucks sometimes, especially now.
The man was clearly wicked. He was sarcastic, mean, and pure evil. Huntress bent down, pretending to lower her weapon. The whole way down, her eyes were locked into his. Then, she suddenly jumped up and nailed an uppercut to his head. He flew back but before anyone else could move, a loud gunshot echoed through the street. Huntress gasped and turned just in time to see a thug drop one of the children to the ground.
The men all around her piled into the van, leaving the other now petrified child behind. The doors slammed shut and the van squealed away. Huntress dropped to her knees, her bottom lip quivering. She tried so hard to hold back the tears but they poured down like a waterfall. They shot the young boy in the head, killing him instantly. The other child, the boy's sister, was screaming in pain and agony.
Huntress crawled over to the children, crying so hard she could barely see. She removed the rope and tape from the girl and watched her fall down, clinging to her brother. Huntress lifted the boy up and clutched him in her eyes. She just witnessed the death of one of her students. Huntress laid him down and stood up, very angrily. The girl held onto her little brother while Huntress looked up at the sky. The rain fell on her face as she screamed to the heavens.
"Have I not already witnessed enough death?! Why has this happened to the pour child?! WHY?!"
Huntress fell silent and looked down at the siblings, one holding the other. Her voice was shaky from all her tears and sorrow. Suddenly, Huntress grew very dark and somewhat sinister. Her body was shaking from the crying and she looked at the girl.
"I swear to you, that man will wish he never did what he has just done. He will suffer for this terrible thing."
Huntress's voice was quiet and bone-chilling. She would never forget what she just witnessed and after she hunted him done, she would do the same thing to all his men and then him. Huntress looked back up at the moon and then pulled out her grappling gun. She quickly dialed 911 and then soared onto a nearby rooftop. She watched as the authorities arrived and then left to her house. She quickly fell into a fit of depression and later quit her job at the school.
