Location: The Black Cat (local bar) Time: 10:15pm, November 8thIt wasn’t terribly often that she found herself in her home state…in fact she tended to avoid it all together. Too many memories, too many stirred emotions and scars she had yet to fully work through, or touch and if she had it her way, she never would. Everyone was okay with the all business young woman they knew. Her issues didn’t affect them, and how could you care about someone who always kept you at a distance? Her mind wondered away from the present to remember other things. March 23rd. ~Flashback~“Jacquelyn for Christ sakes, your drunk again, this is the sixth time this week.”Hazel eyes turned to look up at him, from her place at their kitchen table. Fingers curled around a half empty glass of white wine. The nearly empty bottle of Pinto Gringo on the table some few feet in front of her and she may or may not be a littledrunk. Aviary didn’t say anything to him, she simply thought about her answer, of something she could say to make this better, nothing came to mind. It had to be alcohol or perhaps it wasn’t. “I’m not…” Came, her oh so very intelligent response, she frowned, moving to stand up, but found Austin with his hand held up, his expression one of anger, and his hands had curled up into a fist at his sides. He didn’t mind that she drank, what he didn’t want to do was deal with her, if she drank too much, but if he’d just remember what this week was for her, he’d understand, but he didn’t. If it didn’t directly relate to him, he didn’t remember or give a damn. “You’re not!?”The sneer came fast as his usually cocky smirk the one, she used to find rather sexy had the young man’s face curled in a look of rage, that had her second guessing her initial judgment, this anger directed at her, was not…something she found attractive, not when his voice was rising and he was making his way toward her, making her feel like a cornered animal. He hated lying. “Aviary cut the crap, take a look around you, you have no one in your life, all the people you know might as well be strangers. It’s no wonder you have no friends. You cry in your sleep, and you’re drowning in drinks from the moment you get home. Your pathetic, Aviary, always have been, just like re-tard-ed sister.” (Kept wanting to make it a bad word) Aviary pushed the chair back in her hast to get up, and it fell to the ground, nearly taking herself with it. She hissed in anger, her eyes filled with a fire, a deep all consuming darkness as she threw her hand wide in a gesture as she spoke, the wine glass went sailing from her out stretched fingers and broke against the coffee table. “Get out!” She said quietly, with a snarl her eyes filled with that all consuming darkness, that rage, it was dangerous, and this was what was left over in the death of her sister. No one knew what that was like, what this was like! She had a good control over it, but she’d never fully lost it, she’d never fully let the dragon out, it would be a deadly dance. No one had ever pushed her to her breaking point. When Austin didn’t move right away, she slammed her palms face down on the table. “I said get out! Get the hell out!” She screamed, knowing her neighbors could probably hear every word. If he didn’t get out, she might kill him, no…there was no might about it, he wouldn’t leave this apartment alive. Austin was furious, his mouth in a sneer, he always had to have the last word, always and it didn’t matter how below the belt his blows landed. “Fine, I was only here for the sex, and it wasn’t even that good. You’ll never find someone to put up with all your baggage, Aviary, never.”[/center] Currently: Black Cat Bar. Time: 10:32pm, November 8th Aviary had learned a lot as much as she hated to admit it from Austin Jamason. She learned how to be an asshole, and how not to be one. She swirled the amber liquid around in her shot glass for a moment looking down into the glass, as though it might hold all the answers in the world. Austin was on her hit list, one she intended to carry out before she left this world one of these days. The thought of sending her fist into her ex’s face and breaking his nose, was a very appealing one, and it always seemed to get a small smile on her lips.
Tossing the liquid into her mouth, she threw her head back taking the bitter liquid with a small wince, placing the small glass back on the marble top, she leaned her elbow on the table, her cheek against her fist, as her ran her finger along the edge of the glass, thinking.
She didn’t pay the empty glass much mind, as she continued to try and let her mind work through the thoughts that were going on, she was back here, back in L.A to look at a lead to a current case, or maybe that’s just what she was saying to everyone, even herself. It was her birthday in a few hours, maybe she was here for other reasons, reasons’ she hadn’t even known about.
"Happy Birthday to me...what a joke"
Came the muttered, one might say bitter words from the hazel eyed girl. When it came to her personal life she tended to do things on a whim.

[style= font-family: arial; text-align: justify; margin-right: 5px; font-size: 9px] LOCATIONLos Angeles, the Black Cat Bar TIME November 8th, 2012 | 10:34 p.m. TAGS Allista Cray, Aviary Eves[/style] [style= font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 445px; font-family: tahoma; font-size: 12px] Tobias Whale. The name alone brought her nose to a wrinkle and her sharp blue eyes to glaze over with fury. She had a personal vendetta against the crime boss that reached further than skin deep and she would give up anything to see him dead. Of course, that kind of wish could only be fulfilled if she had his life in her control. Belle Reve seemed to have taken that right away from her, locking up his pasty, pale ass away – as if that would do anything. If you wanted to talk about injustice, this was the biggest she had ever encountered. Why couldn’t she kill the man who had ravaged her family and who had tortured her? Why was that right not her own? Even if he was locked away and under close watch she was not happy; his list of crimes were long enough to warrant a death sentence.
When word came out of his supposed escape Allista Cray was in a blind fury. What kind of high maximum security system just let a world class criminal waltz on out of their facility? Were they allowing monkeys to run the show; Allista was more than sure of that possibility. On top of that they had completely lost him, they didn’t know how he got out, they didn’t know where he was, did they didn’t know anything about him and that infuriated her to no end. If there was anybody who deserved to be in prison and to rot there it was Tobias Whale and she had promised herself she would make this happen.
There were very little leads and when she questioned the officials as Allista Cray – the woman who had testified and put him into Belle Reve – they gave her nothing. From what they said it sounded like he just got up one day and walked out through the front door. Just like that; it was unbelievable to hear.
The buffoons at Belle Reve and within the government were absolutely no help so Allista had to filter through her other resources. Donning her alter ego’s mask, she took to the streets of Thorn City as Crow and sought out answers from the criminal community. If there was one thing about organized crime it was that they were a. extremely reliable and b. their subordinates were very easy to break. It took a few days and hours of stake outs in cold fall nights but Allista finally got some sort of lead on Tobias Whale. With her newfound information she took a plane to the West Coast and found a nice hotel to stay in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles wasn’t her favorite city. In fact it was down on the list, right after Philadelphia. Alas, when work beckoned her she had to go to its source. Tobias Whale was rumored to be holed up in Los Angeles, running some shady underground clubs and casinos. She didn’t have an exact location yet, but one of her sources told her he frequented the Black Cat in search of new “show girls”. What this actually meant was that he was kidnapping young girls from clubs and forcing them into his trade. The thought sickened her and after spending 4 nights in the same bar she was growing impatient in her findings – or lack thereof.
This was her fifth ninth and she decided that perhaps coming in with random dates was not the way to go. Allista decided on this night she would come to the club alone, dressed in a skin tight grey, leopard print cocktail dress. Her hair was let loose, slightly wavy and she liberally applied make up. Surely she looked good enough to be a show girl, or maybe just someone’s cheap date. Either way, she wasn’t used to the clubbing scene and as Allista Cray could normally be seen at banquets and lavish parties meant only for the one percent. But tonight, she would have to play that part – the wild party girl, just looking for a good time.
Hopefully, no one recognized her as the same patron who came in the last four nights. Otherwise it might seem just a little suspicious. She assumed, since in the last four nights she had donned about four different hair colors to go with a disguise she was in the clear, only a really good observer would have to catch on her.
The night was still young when she entered and whatever party that was scheduled had not started yet. There were little people dancing upon the floor and everyone was either camped out in booths or lounging at the bar. She sighed catching no sight of the 300 pound, male albino and made her way to the bar, taking a seat next to a down cast dark brunette. As she took her seat, she twirled around, scanning the entire club looking for any distinct faces but finding none. Propping her elbows on the bar she jiggled her hand allowing the bracelets on them to bangle against one another, their clinking inaudible amongst the booming music. The only person who would hear it was Allista, who’s specialized hearing caught every single movement in the club and much to her annoyance the obnoxious music. In order to protect her sensitive ear drums from the noise she had to wear filtering ear buds, otherwise she’d be sprawled out on the floor in great pain. Tobias did this to her, it was like a great scar that she’d have to wear forever.
Finding nothing under her vision she turned back to face the bar catching the brunette’s statement as she took a sip of her drink. Allista pursed her lips, making out the bitterness in her tone as she placed her glass back on the table. Sighing, she decided that it wouldn’t kill her to make a few friends in the bar – maybe she’d look a little more convincing after all.
Raising her hand she called the bar keep over, “Let me get an old fa-“ She stopped realizing that her taste in cocktails was a bit too classy compared to girls of her generation, “I mean get me a brass monkey.” She said, a sweet smile on her face as she waved the bar keep off. She drummed her fingers on the table, her gaze falling onto the young woman who sat beside her.
“What’s a bigger joke is this bar. You think the city of Los Angeles would have more to offer considering its demographics.” Allista began, watching as the bartender slid her cocktail over. She paid him and tipped rather graciously as she took a sip of the sweet concoction. “On a brighter note, Happy Birthday, Alice Young, pleasure to meet you.” She finished, extending her hand forward for a shake.

Aviary was a little lost in her thoughts and didn't notice the young woman who took a seat next to her before, she spoke to her.
She let her gaze openly run over her and she smiled slightly. She accurately put her weight and height into account and the color of her hair and eyes. Her cheek turned to give the younger woman her full attention, her cheek resting against her palm, as her fingers curled along her cheek. The name was a lie, but that was just a gut feeling, that spread along her chest, a warm feeling of pressure. Jacquelyn was a woman who followed and listened to her instincts, those off feelings had saved her life more than once, it was a reason she hadn't gotten in that car with her sister and her mother, seven years ago.
"It's nice to meet you, Jacquelyn Anderson and yes, but you get quality service, the people here will take care of you"
She greeted giving Matt a nod who'd heard what she said over Alice's shoulder. As she held out her hand, giving the woman a handshake. It was nice to pretend to be someone else and for Aviary it was a matter of protection, not that it wouldn't he hard to find her real name, but even she wanted to pretend sometimes, like tonight, she wanted to be someone else for a little while.
It was a funny feeling wanting company, when she put so much distance between herself and those she knew. Perhaps she worked so much, so she'd never realize how lonely she really felt.
She withdrew her hand and pretended to not notice the two older, yet overly attractive men that were making their way over to them.

[style= font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 445px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px] The young woman was analyzing her, quaint as if she would ever find out any of her secrets. It was cute though, watching someone else size her up, eye her cautiously as if she were going to strike out at any moment. She could appreciate that kind of alertness, but she also had to be wary of it. Caution was not always just a personality attribute; unless said person was paranoid, but there was something in the way she watched Allista that made her consider that this Jacquelyn Anderson – if that’s what she was calling herself had a little more underneath the hood than she displayed.
Settling into visible complacency, Allista sat closer to Aviary making it outwardly appear as if the two were close friends. All a ruse, all necessary if she was looking for the trouble she wanted. “My first time in this part of L.A., but I’m glad to know that I’m in good hands.” She said with a smile, coyly titled her hand and propping it against her hand which was pressed against her body as she stood rather straight and tall. Always a visage of high class, well at least Allista tried to portray that despite her rather self-induced thrashy appearance.
That’s when she noticed them, two tall, extremely attractive young men dressed up in a rather expensive pair of dress pants and snazzy dress shirts. They were walking all calm and cool like towards she and Aviary and from the corner of her eyes she observed them finally coming to a conclusion that this was the trouble she was looking for.
Turning in her chair slightly she displayed a look of surprise as the gentlemen approached, everything about their appearance snake like and just all out bad. She brushed her hair behind her ear letting out a slight smile and as she waved to the men, who walked more earnestly once they had been approached. She played her part the stupid, naïve club girl who was just looking for a good time. They were on them like vultures now and there was no escaping from their sights even though Aviary showed no interest whatsoever. She would have to apologize later for dragging her into this mess.
“Hey ladies.”
One of the men said, brushing his blonde hair back rather coolly as he beamed a smile at them.
“My friend and I thought you ladies looked a little lonely over here… thought we might lighten up your evening.” His teeth glared through his smile as he looked down at them with purposeful eyes.
To his response and much to her chagrin, Allista forced and giggly and coyly poised herself on her barstool as she avoided eye contact and looked away shyly.
“Hey look, we have our own booth over there; if you ladies want you’re more than welcome to join us.” He extended his hand, waiting patiently for her to take it.
To play the part she slowly raised her head, looking to his head and blushing slightly as she turned to Aviary a wide smile on her face. The young woman was not at all impressed or interested and Allista could understand why, there was nothing alluring about these males only girls that lacked the mental capacity to think for themselves would be lured into their trap. Sometimes moments like these made Allista wonder whom was really at fault here. Regardless, she was on a mission and these guys were her keys to Tobias Whale.
“Hey Jackie…” Allista cooed still playing on the whole we are best friends and know each other very well act, “It’s your birthday today right? Why don’t we have some fun.” She said with a wink, taking Aviary’s hand much to her displeasure and with proper force and positioning, Allista was able to pry Aviary off her seat as if it were all completely voluntary. She smiled to Aviary maintaining her role and following after the two men as they lead them to a booth located at the back of the club, this just screamed ominous.
Once they arrived to their seating area, the two men ushered them into the booth. Dragging Aviary with her, Allista sat inside the cushioned seat and watched as the two men took seats at either end of both girls, closing them into their little trap – she was sure. Glasses were set on the table along with various drinks and cigars, Allista eyed them with innocent eyes as she placed her hands in her lap and began to nervously knead them.
Taking notice of her bashful behavior, the blonde that sat next to her slowly laid his hand to rest on her own and leaned in closer to her. Allista immediately blushed and giggled stupidly as she smiled and inhaled, looking as if he were taking a whiff of her.
“So are you girls from around here?” The brunette who sat next to Aviary asked, his arm wrapped around her shoulder. He smiled, looking down at the obviously upset young woman.
“Oh… noo, I’m just visiting! I’m from Georgia actually.” Allista responded, allowed her hands to shake as the blonde man continued to hold it. He smiled at her, reaching out for a few glasses and pouring the dark amber whiskey into four of them. One for each person at the table. Allista watched him carefully, waiting for the snake to sneak in a rape drug. He poured all four glasses, and then slid them over, she watched his friend but there was nothing suspicious that occurred to the drinks. A puzzled look on her face she sat back wondering if she had miscalculated.
“Hey, hey you girls look like you need to loosen up.” The brunette chided, nudging Aviary slightly as he grinned at her sour expression, “Let’s have a drink…” The two men raised their glasses and looked down at the girls who stared apprehensively at the shots before them. Laughing, they nodded understanding what the problem might be. “Alright, we’ll drink first.” The blonde said, taking a quick swig of his shot and throwing his head back. He released a quick smack of his lips and looked down at them waiting for their approval.
Allista maintained her suspicions and slowly raised her drink, bringing it to her nose and smelling it. The men laughed at her, and she giggled nervously as she looked to Avaiary who was already downing it and then decided that if worse comes to worse, she always had a contingency plan. Throwing her head back, she took a quick gulp of her own liquor and felt the warm substance go down her throat, slightly burning every part of her body it touched. The warmth filled her and she looked up at the two men who laughed at her as she looked over to Aviary who was visibly becoming blurry.
A perplexed look etched across her face and she realized that her vision was beginning to fail her. Dark blotches were appearing before her gaze and as she looked over to Aviary she wasn’t sure if she was curling over onto the table or if her own vision was failing her. Shaking slightly, Allista tried to get up but to no avail and then finally the world around her was filled only with the men’s laughter, then darkness. [/style]

Aviary really wasn’t in the mood to be surrounded by people; those said people were often younger and more immature than she was. She often looked younger than her 24 years. If she tried she could literally look like she was 14, her height and weight was perfect for it, not mention that face and her eyes. Her task force at one time had wanted to send her undercover at a high risk local high school, uhh no. She hadn’t been about to do that. Her eyes seemed to always hold a higher amount of emotion, then she wanted them too, but who was going to know that much, who was going to pay attention.
“You’re too serious Avi, you need to lighten up, learn to have fun; once in a while won’t hurt sis.”[/i]
She heard her sisters words, practically whispered and it was followed by her small laugh. She ground her teeth together and for a moment didn’t move. Her eyes moved to look over her shoulder, to simply get a feel for her who was around this evening. Her gaze went back to the black haired girl sitting next to her, and she turned her swirling chair her way, her eyes on the young man who approached them. She looked over at the other brunette behind him that was by the booth.
This young girl was here for a reason and it wasn’t just to get a few drinks and talk to her, she knew an opportunist when she saw one. She would play along; she wasn’t against reckless actions once she wasn’t on the clock.
Jacquelyn let herself be lead over the booth, she didn’t much like taking the inside, but she could live with it. She gave a small smile to the brunette who nudged her and looked down at the drink that slide her way. This was a terrible idea, but lately she’d been full of them, what was one more? “I’m just here visiting family, I’m from Washington” she told them as she watched the blonde take his drink and she slowly lifted her own. She hadn’t been drinking a lot before, only two shots. She swirled the liquid around for a moment, before tilting her head back and swallowing the drink. She soon found herself leaning into the guy next to her as her shoulder touched his, and her body slide a little bit more into side, she was hit in the chest with a feeling of fear, of emotion that she couldn’t explain, and it was than that she knew, this had been a terrible mistake.
Her hazel eyes had black dots in her vision, and she could feel her body shaking a bit, her hand hit the table the glass rolling out of her hand, and her other body twisted towards the brunette sitting next to her, her hand on his leg and the other on the table trying to push herself up, but the whole world spun with the movement. She immediately looked to the young girl and saw that she was passed out on the table, and the blonde was starting to lift her. She pressed her heel into her boot under the table, shoving the small .380 deeper into her hiding spot, made it look like she’d stepped on her own foot.
The brunette said something to her, something in her ear. She couldn’t understand him, the words didn’t make sense, she tried to question him, but all he did was laugh, as he pulled her against his side as her hand gripped his arm, he could feel how the grip got weaker and weaker, until her whole world went black.

[style= font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 445px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px] A sudden bump stirred her from her blacked out state and Allista slowly opened her eyes to be met with a dim setting. Her vision was momentarily blurry, but it modified itself back to normal allowed her to see everything in its refined state. She had been out for what felt like hours, but judging by the conversation of the two familiar voices in the front it had only been several minutes since they had left the Black Cat Bar. She was situated in the rear seat of a sedan, the leather smelled new and expensive.
Allista lifted her head only slightly as to not bring attention to her movement to look down at Aviary who head was laid out on her lap. The young woman was still knocked out. Whatever the men had put into their drinks, Allista deduced that they had drank an antidote so were unaffected by the toxin. Allista and Aviary on the other end, were completely susceptible – well only temporarily for Allista s her rapid immune system went to work on fighting out the toxins. It explained why she was up first.
Regrettably, Allista had pulled her into this mess and she was internally apologetic internally for putting her through this. From this point on she was deeply obligated to get this young woman out of this mess, preferably in one piece. The two men in the front seat spoke boisterously about plans for the weekend and some yacht party that they were going to attend. Allista wrinkled her nose wanting to strangle them for their heinous deeds and the nonchalance that they displayed. People like them were absolutely despicable. Moving her hands slightly, she discovered that they were actually bound by zip ties, as were her feet. A bit excessive considered that they had used a knock out drug, but she supposed you had to always be ready for anything. Blue eyes moved to the left most corner of her sockets and she looked out the window to see the city flashing by as they speed down a main avenue to who knows where. Movement up front caused her to immediately play dead again and she lifted her eyes only slightly to see the brunette look back at them, slap Aviary on the ass and then laugh as he turned back around.
Anger flashed through her as she did what she could to not visibly show it. Their backs were turned to her, it would be so easy to disable them here and now, but that would compromise this entire mission. She needed to be taken down the rabbit hole, all the way to the Queen’s chambers. This entire situation was absolutely necessary. Of course she would like to spare Aviary the trouble, but it wasn’t like she could push her out of the moving vehicle this very second. She was in this wild ride till the very end.
Deciding that there was not much she could do, Allista rested her head back and closed her eyes considering that maybe a few minutes of shut eye would do her body good at this point. [/style] ● ● ● [style= font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 445px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px] Several minutes, Allista heard the car come to a squeaky halt. She opened her eyes only to be met with the image of another bar, The Nobu Lounge. She listened as the men in the front removed their seat belts and excited the vehicles. Returning to her “dead like a doornail” disposition, Allista felt the breeze hit her as the passenger doors open and the blonde grabbed her under the shoulders and pulled her out of the car. “Jesus Christ, she’s small but she’s heavy.” He said as he raised her off the ground and began to carry her around the back of the club. She heard the brunette grunt as he lifted Avaiary from the vehicle and followed after them.
Peering her eyes open ever so slightly, she watched as they walked past a bouncer who eyed them then nodded as if in mutual understanding. They rounded the front entrance, going to the back, and down a set of stairs to some rank smelling basement. Above she could hear the pounding of feet and music echo down to them and her mind visualized the entire layout of the bar. Laughter and chatter reached her ears and she tried to pinpoint anyone that was remotely similar to Tobias Whale. No luck just yet.
A door creaked open in the darkness and they were put into a bright red room with vanity mirrors and lights all alright. A few girls scuttled backwards and huddled in a corner as the men entered. Allista eyed them, dressed in rather alluring and sensual clothing – they didn’t look like they had donned their attire by choice. The men scoffed at them, and dropped Allist and Aviary onto a scarlet, cloth couch. Grasping her by the chin, the blonde turned her head left to right, attempting to determine if she was awake or not. With no response, he rose and looked at the girls I the room.
“When they wake up, tells us. Now get them dressed and ready. We need them for the CEO of eBuy. He likes dark haired girls.”
He waved to the girls and left the room, the girls still huddled in the corner whispering amongst themselves and looked over curiously at Allista and Aviary. As if on cue, when the door shut, Allista sat up on the couch and wiggled her hands slightly, getting a proper position and finally with the ring on her finger pointed upward, pressed a button on the small piece of jewelry and activated a laser beam that cut straight through her zip tie.
The girls all gasped and muttered frantically as Allista bent over and released herself from the zip ties ensnared around her ankles. Her joints breathed with life and she stood, removing her heels and opening the platform and heels to pull out small objects, most notably two rather large bracelets that she snapped onto her wrists. Brushing her hair up into a tight ponytail, she tied it tight and looked to the girls who were looking at her in bewilderment.
“Don’t worry… I’m here to help.” Allista said reassuringly as she turned to look at Aviary who was stirring slightly on the couch. “I need you to watch her, don’t tell them she woke up – I’ll get you all out of here.” Allista said with a nod as she placed a visor over her eyes, the solid eye piece became slightly opaque, but Allista could see perfectly as she looked at the girls a reassuring smile on her face.
Giving them a thumbs up, she turned making way for the door and preparing to hunt down the mad man, Tobias Whale. [/style]

Aviary felt herself being moved, she couldn't very well move her body, but it was just that feeing you had when you were asleep but driving and unable to to wake up. She heard voices but known of them made any sense to her, it was all a muffled and distant. She tried to catch sense of the words but it only made her head pound.
She felt her body falling sliding against a plush couch. She was slowly starting to regain consciousness and she could better hear the young women around her. One voice caught her attention, it was Alice the girl from the bar, she was here. She couldn't quite understand everything as she rolled her head, eyes opening to mere slits.
The harsh lights hurt her eyes and she whimpered at the violent change of scenery from what she could remember of the bar. Her head was pounding, it felt like her head was going to explode. Her eyes shut and and she had to force them open again.
"Alice, where is she?"
She forced herself up, her body shaking from the effects of the drug and the world tilted on her as she pressed her hand to her forehead, her other hand moving to her boot and drifting down inside the material to wrap around the cool metal of her handgun. She pulled it out holding it loosely in her hand. She wanted the rest of her weapons, wanting that security but they were in her car, one under the seat and the other in the glove compartment.
"Tell me, who runs this place?"
She asked, her hand moving down to allow herself to look at the girls. She took them in as her vision slowly dragged into focus, steadily getting sharper, taking in more detail as her body worked to get rid of the poison in her system.
She waited the answers critical, it was hard for her to fully grasp everything, she knew they had to get out of here and that she couldn't leave Alice, the dumb girl had a vendetta being here and she was going to figure out what it was and get her out of here, she'd get them all out of here. She just needed to get her legs back and then they'd be out of here once, she figured out a more solid plan, she just needed a little more time. For now she'd recover her strength for just a little longer.

[style= font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 445px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px] Ravens is what she called the small devices that she thrust from the flat utility belt she wore under her skirt and around her thigh. They were small orbital shaped objects that when launched into the air –instead of falling – began to silently hover and blink ever so slightly as it flew down the hallway. Blinking, Allista looked at her visor whose transparent screen was changing to display a blueprint of the area. Her Ravens, as they flew through the air gathered the schematics of the building she was in and relayed it back to her visor.
Crouching behind crates that once house beer bottles, Allista Crow studied the area that she was in taking into account the guards that, though few, were still hovering around here and there for whatever reasons. Tobias Whale didn’t seem to think that he needed many handymen tonight and that was fine. Made her job that much easier. I’m coming for you Tobias were her last thoughts as she pushed off the ground and ran down the hallway to certain doom.
Allista was shoeless now; not that she particularly cared. This type of approach would prove to be more stealthy and also allowed her to move rather quickly through the lower complex. From the information that her Ravens gathered the “basement” of the club was merely storage with three separate rooms. One she already knew was the dressing room for the frazzled young women and the other two were either storage or the communal area for the workers of this place. Both were easy to evade and at the pace she was going her ticket to the actual club was in the form of two men who stood by the staircase.
Peering over the corner of the wall, Allista looked down the hallway to see the blonde and brunette that had lured them here from the Black Cat Bar. Pursing her lips she watched as they simultaneously smoked and continued their random gossip; they were oblivious to her.
Looking to the hallway opposite to her, she spotted a light fixture that could prove rather useful. Brandishing a blunt disk from her utility belt, she thrust it forward with precision and ease and watched as it flicked out her hands and spiraled across the room. It took only seconds for it to collide with the light fixture causing a loud sound with the crackling glass and the lights in that hallway to go out. The two men’s conversation quickly dulled down and by the sound of their expensive Fendi leather loafers, Allista was sure that they were on their way to investigate.
Pressing her body flat against the sheet rock Allista waited, her ears capturing their every step and mapping out their exact location for her. When they were mere centimeters away from entering the open junction she immediately pushed off the wall, turned on the balls of her feet and pulled the blonde into a tight clinch. Once he was there, a swift slam of her knee to his temple sent him crumpling to the ground. His partner in crime was preparing to unload a weapon on her, but by quickly grabbing his arm she snapped the wrist, effectively breaking the bone and then send an elbow slamming against his temple.
The two men went down quite easily and Allista wasn’t sure if she should be disappointed in their lack of a fight. Regardless of the results she had to focus on her mission and that was to take out Tobias Whale through any means necessary. Removing her visor and slipping it into her utility belt, Allista walked up the stairs completely forgetting that she was without shoes and opened the door to meet with the overwhelming music of the club.
House trance music echoed from every corner of the room and she could literally feel the floor tremble from the stomping feet and the bass effects of the song. Moving across the dance floor, she looked her best to blend in all while trying to avoid stiletto heels form stabbing her in the foot. There were so many people, along the bar, on the dance floor and on seats and tables within the lounging area. Much to her chagrin, there was no one that looked like the distinguishable Tobias Whale.
Wrinkling her nose, she pushed a young woman out of her way as she turned and spotted the curtained booths at the other end of the club. There were several of them, no doubt set up for privacy and potentially housing someone of great interest. Making a beeline path for that section, she quickly ascended the three steps to the raised level and slowly approached one booth. Moving forward, she approached quietly and slowly opened the curtain only slightly to catch a glimpse of a scrawny old man and young woman in the act of coitus. Widening her eyes, Allista immediately pulled back and looked at the other four booths in the area. This is what they were doing with the young captured girls, putting them to do work like this? Her brows furrowed and she began to think that her mission would have to experience a minor modification.
That was until the booming laughter of Tobias Whale reached her ears and without even thinking Allista broke into a sprint and skid to a halt in front of the scarlet, velvet curtains that separated he and her. Stepping forward, she took hold of the cloth, prepared to rip it off its hinge but decided against it. Instead, she opened the curtain staring into the booth and her blues finally hardening as they fell upon the enormous man known as Tobias Whale.
“What the f&@k, get out of here girl!”
Tobias yelled, a bump coming from the table and a young girl’s head suddenly emerging from beneath the counter. Allista looked slightly bewildered as she erased any thoughts in her mind as she watched the young girl wipe her lips and rub the back of her head. She was frozen, watching another girl to his right quickly grab a top off the table and cover her chest.
“Did you hear me? I said to get the f&@k out of here!” He screamed again, his hands jumbling with his belt and pants beneath the table before he finally rose. Allista backed up slightly, her eyes now locked onto him and her brows furrowing as she clenched her fist. The moment had come to face the man she so desperately sought and she could only freeze in fear from utter disgust.
“Get out of here.”
Allista finally managed, looking at the girls and flicking her head to the exit. They young woman hesitate, but when Allista slammed her hands on the table they quickly got up and ran past Allista to disappear behind the curtain.
“What the f&@k…?”
Was all Tobias could muster as Allista suddenly launched forward, her one hand grabbing at his throat and the other sending two, three, four punches clean to his nose. She bear bone crunch and was unsure if it were her own knuckles or Tobias’ nose. Whichever it was, she did not care. Instead, she continued to beat his face in until finally her roared, the sound becoming muffled as he gurgled his own blood and pulled onto her ponytail. Violently snapping her head back, he pulled her off him and slammed her against the table. The assault momentarily winded her and she suddenly gasped as he send a knife through her thigh.
“Who the hell are you?”
Tobias roared, grabbing a napkin off the table and staining its purity with his blood. He growled at Allista, staring her down as she grabbed at the knife and pulled it from her flesh. Blood slowly seeped out in place and she lifted her upper body off the table, blade still in hand.
“Your reckoning Tobias.” She finally said, twirling the blade in her hand and sending it into his abdomen. He glared at her slightly disbelief and recognition on his face as he managed to piece her appearance together.
“Allista?”
Before she could respond, the curtain flung open, “Boss?” Allista heard a man say followed by the sound of a gun cocking. Realizing the severity of the situation, she immediately picked up the wine bottle from the table, rolled over and up and smashed the base against the man’s head. Three more were after him and they raised their weapons unsure of how to fire on her without harming Tobias. “Get her you idiots!” Tobias yelled, trying to grab at Allista but failing as she slid off the table and dove under it.
Bracing her hands under the table she pushed from her thighs and send it flying forward and out through the curtain. It clattered atop the men and she head them yell and curse as it landed upon them.
“Come on Tobias, you know it won’t be that easy.” Allista said with a smirk as she cracked her neck and quickly leapt forward preparing another all-out assault on the man. [/style]

Watch your back:
"She left...pulled gadgets from her boots and walked out the door. She looked...looked like a superhero"
Explained one of the girls who boldly stepped forward and answered approaching the older brunette with the gun.
"We must get you dressed quickly before they come back, we can say you left with one of the men to go to the CEO. This will give you time to find your friend and if you are here to stop them...and save us...we can help you look nice and still keep your gun, Detective..."
Aviary frowned standing up and placing her gun on the couch as she stripped herself of her clothes with no real problem in doing so. Her tattoos stood out, as did her scars.
She wasn't one to be shy of public nudity, she had gotten used to it in the military and she was comfortable in herself enough to still function.
"I understand, please lend me your expertise"
She let the young red head and hand her the purple seek through undies with the black trim and the matching top that went down to barely cover her bootie. She frowned feeling the silk purple straps holding it up as she slid her feet into new long boots that went up to her knees, and she slipped her gun inside the boot, ignoring the heavy pressure on her right foot.
Jacquelyn walked to the mirror and brushed her hair, and let the ladies apply make-up to her eyes to make it so she would not stand out in a bad way. Taking a deep breath she removed her earrings and put in the ones with purple and black feathers hanging from a silver chain in her ears and a collar around her neck, metal choker with a purple gem dangling at the end of her throat. She swallowed a little nervous as she moved for the door.
Pushing her nerves to the side and strengthening her resolve, she pushed open the door and stepped out into the hallway.
It wasn't hard to follow the beat of the music and find the knocked out guards. She wasn't terrible pleased with what she was beginning to put together.
She was still shaking off the drug, her steps still a little unsteady and the high heels weren't helping but she could walk a somewhat straight line and hopefully she wouldn't loose the contents in her stomach and her aim would still be spot on. She climbed the stairs and entered the noise of the club, her eyes sweeping passed the people here.
Her hazel eyes caught sight of the big bouncer like men heading for a place a little ways off that held private little booths with cloth around them. The closer she got the louder the commotion seemed to be getting
"Come on Tobias, you know it won't be that easily."
Jacquelyn reached down into her boot and pulled her weapon from her boot, side stepping dancers and those moving away from the fight.
Alice...what the devil are you doing?
She headed up the short three steps and kept her weapon at her side, finger resting on the trigger as she moved closer to the man bellowing orders at the men in black. She moved to slip her arm around his chest over his shoulder from behind in a drunk manner, her body pressing firmly against his back, her pistol hidden against her side.
"Oh whoops...silly me, I tripped. I'm so sorry" she said breathlessly with a little laugh against his ear, as she raised her hand from his chest in a stroking manner and laid her hand on his shoulder as she raised her head slightly from his back and peered over his shoulder to look at Allista. Her other hand rising with the heavy weight of her pistol to press against the old man's temple.

[style= font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 445px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px] Jacquelyn, or whatever her name was. Aviary or something like that. The facial profiling application integrated onto her browser pulled up the file of the FBI agent when Allista first laid eyes on her in the dressing room. That aside, she didn't really care much for an identity because right now, at this very moment she was acting as a huge distraction for her and for her target. Tobias was grinning ear to ear as the young woman stroked her fingers across his chest and placed the cool barrel of her weapon against his temple. An FBI agent her ass, this girl really needed to do her homework before she started getting herself into anything stupid.
"Avi-" She paused trying not to use her real name and pursed her lips in temporary silence. There was nothing for her to say, Aviary at this point had set herself into a trap and things were going to play out rather nasty from here. Moving her hand swiftly to her side she brandished a blunt disk and with a flick of her wrist that would have been unseen to the blinking eye she launched the disk forward aiming for Aviary's hand force her to relinquish her grip on her fire arm.
With that set in motion, Tobias was already moving, 400 pounds of rippling muscle heaving backwards intent on slamming Aviary against the supporting beam of the private booth.
"You've got friends now huh?" Tobias smirked as he narrowly avoided the firing rifle and tossed Aviary violently off his body, "Well I should give them the same treatment as your father." Tobias roared, lifting the heavy table off the ground and bringing it down upon Aviary.
With very little time to react, the raven haired woman launched her body forward colliding into Tobias and barely moving his massive body. What she did accomplish was only mildly startling him enough so that he dropped the table, leaving it up to Aviary to move out of the way. Wrapping her legs around his waist, Crow proceeded to send another relentless barrage of fists to the center of his face. "Get the f&@k out of here." She commanded to Aviary as Tobias grabbed Allista's ponytail and through what little he could see from his own blood he swung her off his body and slammed her to the floor.
The suit absorbed most of the impact, by Crow knew that his falling foot would not be so kindly embraced by her armor. Rolling over sideways, she grimaced, barely missing his smashing foot and brandishing an edged talon shaped object and began to stab Tobias along the calf. [/style]
