OCCUPATION: None, though he does intend to study. ALIGNMENT: Neutral with a lean towards good. AFFILIATION(S): None[/style] [STYLE= color: #000000; background: #BBDD22; font-family: courier new; font-size: 15px; text-align: center; width: 296px; margin-left: 05px; font-weight: bold; padding: 02px;]PHYSICAL PROFILE[/style][STYLE=color: #191919; font-size: 10px; margin-top: 10px; margin-left: 10px;]HEIGHT: 6'1'' WEIGHT: 179 lbs EYES: Blue HAIR: Auburn CLASSFICATION: Human UNUSUAL FEATURES: A number of scars that run adjacent to his spinal column born from some of the more depraved experiments that were conducted on him as a child. BEHAVIOR PROFILE[/style][STYLE= margin: 0px 10px 0px 10px; border: 2px solid #191919; padding: 2px; font-family: verdana; height: 125px; overflow: auto; font-size: 11px; color: #000000; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; opacity: 0.8] Considering his upbringing, or lack of one, Jason hasn't really developed into what could be considered a normal human, his psyche is that of a child, in that sense he is still greatly impressionable. Not entirely at a disadvantage, Jason still has the faculty of learning at his disposal as his brain activity is accelerated beyond that of a normal human and thus can learn and extricate himself of his status as mentally challenged. Though he will still find some behaviours and social practices as alien, Jason will be highly adaptable though quite naïve about the rigmarole that is life and will not fully understand the complex moralities developed by heroes or the extreme depravity of villains, without any experience he is innocence incarnate. Despite his lack of adult faculties or emotion Jason is a creature that bases his decisions on instincts which will often times put him at odds with the heroes of the world though he will learn. [/style][STYLE=color: #191919; font-size: 10px; margin-top: 10px; margin-left: 10px;]DOCUMENTED HISTORY[/style][STYLE= margin: 0px 10px 0px 10px; border: 2px solid #191919; padding: 2px; font-family: verdana; height: 125px; overflow: auto; font-size: 11px; color: #000000; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; opacity: 0.8] Born the illegitimate son of a married shipping magnate and his secretary, Jason was abandoned a nameless child upon the steps of a church, thrown away by his parents in a vicious cliché. The nameless infant was then adopted by the Garrick's, a couple who were for some reason unable to consummate their family with a child of their own, regardless of this they treated the baby as their own and named him after his new father. Despite the intensity of the Garrick's love for their newborn son, disaster soon struck, after only a few short months under their care, Jason fell gravely ill. Allegedly the infant was struck down by a mutated strain of pneumonia that caused his health to wan quite rapidly, so much so that his father Jay Garrick – The Flash – literally opened a vein in a bid to save his life. The infant was imbued with a great number of blood infusions, in the hope that the speedster's treated blood would fight off the vicious disease. However the illness that afflicted the child was nothing but an elaborate ruse orchestrated by a splinter cell of the Department of Defence that planned to acquire the Flash's genetic material for research they were conducting into creating their own metahumans. Once they were satisfied with the amount of genetic material they had accrued in the infants body they staged his death and kidnapped Jason. The Garrick's were forced to bury a convincing doppelganger of their son and Jason was forced to endure a number of tests to extract the desired genetic material. To the surprise of the scientists that performed these tests they found that the metahuman gene from Garrick's blood had bonded with Jason's DNA, allowing him to access the powers of his adoptive father. This perplexed the abductors and several trials later they discovered that transfusions to other individuals resulted in a rather rapid death as the antibodies in the child's blood attacked the new host rather then imbue them with super speed. Deeming him a failed experiment the child, then five, was put into stasis. Though the stasis science of the day was imperfect and the chamber he was placed in only served to slow his already reduced ageing process. For the better part sixty years Jason has been frozen in time, now a former member of the Hermes Project, Sergeant Henry Miller, has decided to let the frozen speedster's father know the true fate of his son. Jason lies in wait, oblivious to the world that is rapidly changing about him and completely unaware that his father his coming for him and some revenge. This means that they are connected to the Speed Force and are tethered to it. Some characters may control their Speed Force imparted powers in different ways such as only Superhuman Strength or even directed through Lighting but no matter their adaptions they are still connected to the Force. Superhuman Speed - Speed Force conduits have one main ability above all else. Conduits are connected to the barrier and accumulation of all Speed known in their universe. These characters immediately understand how to run at superhuman speeds and their bodies instinctively understand how to react at high-speed situations. Older speedsters have a reduced but maxed speed of 770mph which is just below sonic booms allowing them to react to situations without causing civilians undue stress. Speedsters in their prime can travel at much faster speeds such as the max level of recorded aided speed on Earth and even reach the speed of light with enough willpower. It is possible for conduits to travel much faster than the speed of light however such levels require an incredible amount of stress. Speedsters unaccustomed to their max level of speeds may detach themselves from the Speed Force or even become part of the Speed Force by accident. Superhuman Endurance - Speed Force conduits have to access the Speed Force for a number of different tasks. Most Speedsters use their superhuman speed and react at superhuman speeds; therefore, they must run for extended periods or operate for a large amount of time. Their bodies can handle the stresses of superhuman racing without noticeable distress. Supercharged Brain Activity - Sometimes neglected by Speedsters who only operate at superhuman speeds and never slow down enough to understand their full potential; Speedsters can access superhuman levels in their brains further than processing information. They can test theories, understand difficult equations and run trial and error in their brains at superhuman speeds. Different conduits access this activity in different ways. Self-Sustenance - Speed Force conduits travel at incredible speeds which cause their bodies to work overtime. In situations where their bodies may be too fast for them to breathe they may impart on the Speed Force for sustenance. However, this almost always results in the conduits having an increased metabolism at all times requiring them to constantly refill their energy supplies. Sharing the Force - Speed Force conduits can allow their friends or family members to run along side them at their equaled speeds. Certain conduits who may only have minor access to the Force may achieve full levels of the Force due to the main conduit's association with it. Speed Force Aura - People who are propelled by the conduits during high speed situations can survive the harsh conditions associated with mach speeds. When the conduit must rescue an individual from a burning building these individuals will be protected while within the aura. Steal Speed - Speed Force conduits can steal the accelerated motion or momentum from objects or people to reduce their speed or even virtually stop them. Conduits may also steal the speed from other Speedsters or other fast moving people. Accelerated Healing - Speed Force conduits are not invulnerable nor durable enough to sustain damage however if they are harmed they will heal at high speeds. Any normal wear and tear damage to their bodies are almost instantly healed. Decelerated Ageing - Speed Force conduits have a slowed aging process. This power can be imparted on their most intimate loved ones by extended contact rather than distribution. Energy Construct Creation - Speed Force conduits can use the matter generated by their speed to create solid objects such as walls or bridges. This power requires constant concentration and reapplication of the construct for it to remain stable. Flash's after images are also construct creations. Flight - Speed Force conduits can rotate their arms and spin their bodies like tops to achieve something of a kind of helicopter flight. However, with practice conduits can even achieve controllable flight if launched at high speeds. Despite their flight abilities they are always faster on their feet. Increased Perceptions - Speed Force conduits traveling at the speed of sound may miss important events as they run by. The Speed Force grants them enhanced senses that allow them to see, hear, smell, touch and/or taste at an increased speed and understand it as it is processed. Infinite Mass Punch - Speed Force conduits have an increased level of strength added to their bodies which they can impart in different ways. Certain speedsters can strengthen each and every move they make however this requires attention and stress for each movement and therefore is almost never used. In most cases conduits can focus the Speed Force's extra-dimensional energies into one massive punch; when used in practiced this punch pushed a meta-human from one continent to another. Phasing - Speed Force conduits can vibrate their molecules so quickly that they can achieve intangibility for short bursts allowing them to phase through objects. Vortex Creations - Speed Force conduits that plant themselves on the ground and rotate their extremities can cause an incredible amount of wind to burst through their focused funnel. Most Speedsters use this ability automatically when they run reducing the air currents around their body to low enough levels to no longer inhibit their speed. Creatively, Speedsters can create tornadoes and gusts with their arms. KNOWN ABILITIES: Jay is exceptionally well-versed in all manner of sciences, namely chemistry & physics, he is also able to think of solutions to even the most complex problems. KNOWN ABILITIES: Currently Jason is without any life skills and thus has no real abilities to speak of. STRENGTH LEVEL: Currently Jason is weak as he has been unable to develop any muscle density, though in the future he will be at peak human strength. WEAKNESSES: Jason has a number of weaknesses that could cause his demise, namely he is still human and can suffer a human death at the hands of a bullet if it were fast enough to hit him. He is also susceptible to manipulation as he knows no better, though this is subject to change in the future as he learns more of human nature but until then Jason will be easily fooled. As for his more physical short comings, considering that he has spent the better part of his development stagnant he has developed very little muscle mass despite his metahuman genes and is quite weak comparatively to your average joe, though again this is subject to change with time. While Jason has access to the powers of a speedster, he has yet learned of them let alone how to control them. (I have no way of doing this, my Mac has no paint.) |

WEAPONS:
With his dignity now covered by a towel and a blanket wrapped around his shoulders, Jason appraised his situation as he warmed his body, he knew something was wrong but couldn't quite put his finger on the source of the problem. It was the way the people who rescued him from the ice chamber acted, how they laid out their shiny toys and had wiped him clean, for some reason the behaviour felt familiar, it only took a fraction of a second for the boy to realise their true intentions. His memory had been slower then it ought to be, they were the bad men, they brought the pain, they were the ones who put him in the freezer. Jason made to alight from the table they had placed him on but found his limbs unaccommodating to his mind's request, they were weak and moved far slower then his memory. Too slow in fact, for a hand bound in white moved over his mouth and nose, covering them with a white cloth that smelled of pain, causing his vision to blur and his senses to dim. As his vision faded, Jason noted the sharp devices they were waving near his exposed flesh and he despaired for there was nothing he could do to stop them from torturing him.
The first incision was a clean one, adjacent to the spine, the boys in the lab required tissue samples for their research but Henry knew that it was a lost cause, the project had been shut down once before for a reason and there was little a bunch of Vietnamese communists could do to make their research bear fruit. In truth this project made him ill, he didn't understand how the government could condone such actions, the only reason he had stayed on was to ensure that they didn't terminate the young Garrick. It had been him that had saved the boy back when Hermes was first shut down, it had been him that had pleaded the boy be frozen instead, convinced the board that he could prove to be an asset in the future. Though Henry was sure that he only went through the effort to save his own soul from damnation. Cringing as the physicians loaded the unconscious body of the boy into the cryogenic chamber, Henry prayed that God would forgive his idle hands.
