Lois' head was swimming and she could see stars in front of her eyes, the man who had hit her had did a good job but she wasn't down just yet. IF there was still a chance, than Lois would get up and stand for herself and try to help those girls. It took Lois a little while to get on her feet again, using the van to help her up but she did. There the men were standing before her, their guns in her face. She glared at them, and thought about screaming out for Superman but her jaw hurt to bad to open her mouth; with hope they had only burse it and not broken it. For a moment they all just looked at each other, the men trying to decide what to do with her, and Lois trying to figure a way out of this situation; wishing she hadn't left her purse in the car for that was where her can of mace was.
"What should we do with little miss noisy?" Of the gun man ask another, even though everyone was thinking the question he was the first to ask it. In truth they really only had two choices; take her with them or kill her now; and they didn't have much time to make that choice. Lois' eyes dart from each man, trying not to show any fear but in truth she was scared. She did everything she could to remind herself that superman wasn't too far away and therefore she was in really no great danger. That was until she heard the screams, shouts, guns firing, and people running from the building. It was clear there was a lot more going on now on the inside there before and that Superman would be dealing with that and not too worried about her or the girls; for he would believe that they had gotten away.
Thinking that Lois wasn't a big threat, two of the men left the circle leaving two others to decide what to do with Lois, and went to the back in order to usher the girls out of the broken van and into a new one that had just pulled up. Hearing the cries of the girls as the men swung open the doors and started yelling at the women in the language that they could understand; Lois made a motion toward the back. The man guarding her was quick on the draw and forced her back, by grapping her and throwing her at the van. Lois tried to brace herself from the hit with her hands, but it still hurt and she could feel herself slipping for a moment before she got her footing again. Turning she faced the men before her, her eyes full of anger and hate for what they were doing to those girl.
"I say we take her with us, she has fire someone would be willing to pay for that I'm sure. Plus she's a world famous reporter that would bring in more money." The man who hadn't pushed her answered, laughing as he did. If Lois was scared before she was terrified now, they where planning on kidnapping and selling her like the women in the van. All thoughts of Superman saving her fled her mind, because she hadn't seen me and she was sure he believe she was safe now. So the possibility of these men taking her away and getting away was very highly. It was up to Lois now to save herself, and so she quickly looked at what she could do. Two men were standing there with guns, if she would just be able to unbalance one she might be able to get away. It wasn't the best idea in the world but it was the only one that she had. So gathering up her courage, Lois took a run at one of the men.
Lois was able to hit the man with all of her body, but he didn't move, instead he just pushed her back and up against the van. "I think she might be too much trouble." With that he hit her across the face again, causing Lois' head to twist dangerously and to once again hit the van; sliding down to the ground. The difference this time was that Lois didn't get back up or come back too, she was knocked out cold.
With Lois out, another man left to help get the girls off the van, while one was left behind to shoot Lois. She was too much trouble for them and so it was best to just kill her now and be done with it. Just as he pulled the trigger and the bullet left the gun, a blur appeared before him. Superman had come to Lois' aid now, saving her life from the deadly bullet. With the appearance of Superman, the men gave up what they were doing and headed for the hills, however they were no match and Superman soon had them all stacked up. However his job wasn't done, for the big wigs had appeared and tried to make a run for it, so just as Lois was starting to come too he was gone again.
Slowly Lois let out a grown as pain flooded her body; it was as if she had been hit by a truck. Her mouth hurt and she could feel something hot and sticky on her cheek; telling her that she was bleeding. Her head was pounding and she didn't even dare to open her eyes, but she knew she was alive though she wasn't sure if her attackers were still there. She heard running and people calling to others, but there were no more gun shots or angry voices. It was soon she was hearing someone talking to her, and a gentle hand, asking her if she was ok though she could do was let out a grown and let herself be sucked back into the darkness.
The emergency people quickly moved in to get her the care she needed and to get her to wake up again, they where sure she had a concussion and sleeping wasn't a good idea. Quickly the team worked, trying to bring her around and get her taken care off; for the danger was gone.
