History
Lashina was raised a warrior in Granny Goodness' orphanage, and took over leadership of the Female Furies when Big Barda left Apokolips for Earth. Though the Furies went to Earth to aid Big Barda and her lover, Mister Miracle, they soon returned to Apokolips to take their punishment for their betrayal of Darkseid. Lashina was then given leadership over the Female Furies by Darkseid, much to Bernadeth's annoyance.
During a mission to capture Glorious Godfrey, a New God that had been imprisoned on Earth, Lashina was betrayed by Bernadeth and shoved out of the boom tube, where she was shot and later suffered from amnesia. She became Duchess and joined the Suicide Squad until she regained her memory. She eventually led Suicide Squad to Apokolips and used them to fight the other Gods while she battled Bernadeth. She snapped Bernadeth's neck, but Darkseid, infuriated that Lashina had brought humans to Apokolips, killed Lashina, resurrecting Bernadeth in her place. Lashina was later brought back to life by Darkseid, sent to lead the Furies once more on a mission to retrieve Mister Miracle. They succeeded, but Mister Miracle was eventually able to escape.
Sharing leadership with Bernadeth, Lashina is often the field leader of the Furies, while Bernadeth leads them out of the battlefield. Lashina has since battled Young Justice, Birds of Prey and Wonder Woman. She is also a long-time enemy of Superman and his counterparts Superboy and Supergirl. She was most recently seen as a prostitute in Granny Goodness' brothel, though it is unknown what brought her or the Furies to Earth.
Characteristics
Age: 36 (Is immortal)
Height: 6'6”
Weight: 225 LBS
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Unusual Features: None
Personality: Lashina holds a very twisted personality, of course, every member of the Female Furies is twisted in their own way. She's a thrill seeker, and is willing to go the limits just to make things fun for her. She has a deep hatred for Bernadeth, due to her betrayal and constant attempts to outshine her. Lashina takes her leadership role very seriously, and does what she must in order to uphold that title. She's determined and head strong, and also as a Female Fury is willing to die in the heat of battle, whether it be for her sisters, or for dear Granny Goodness.
As a warrior raised on Apokolips she is a pure breed fighter, a survivor. She has had to fight for everything she has and everyone. She sees life as a series of little battles, not always on a field, but there none the less. Once her mind is set within the thrall of combat, she is without hesitation, remorse or mercy if need be. Also, Lashina does not hold back with her words or her actions. She is direct, or blunt with her words. If you ask her a question, she will give you an honest answer, no matter the consequences. She lives as she fights, straightforward and without fear. She's loyal to Granny Goodness, and to Darkseid, making her an excellent body guard or advisor to the two. Additionally, she is also loyal to her sisters in the Female Furies.

Known Abilities:
Strength Level: Superhuman
Weaknesses:
Bernadeth:[/u] The betrayal of Bernadeth has once brought death upon Lashina, but thankfully she was brought back to life by Darkseid. Although the two work on the same team, she has a deep and irrational hate for Bernadeth and is most likely willing at any time to kill her if necessary. How this is a weakness for Lashina is that Bernadeth is willing to kill Lashina at any given moment, or rather stab her in the back in order to gain leadership. If someone can convince Bernadeth to do so, then off goes Lashina's head.
Whip lash:[/u] Lashina's own weapons can be used by anyone. If someone can take in the large amount of shocks from her whips, and take it from her, they can redirect the flow of the charge, or take it all together and use it completely against her at their own will.
Power Houses:[/u] Although she possesses her own level of super strength and durability, Lashina can still go down under the mighty punch of power houses. She can also go under the mighty hand of people who are far better combatants than her.
Mind Control:[/u] Lashina has been mind-controlled before, and she can be again. She's very susceptible to powerful telepaths or hypnotic devices, so her mind can be wiped or completely taken over if necessary or wanted. [/ul]

Powers
Known Powers:
- Super Strength: Although her true origin is unknown, Lashina has shown to possess a level of strength that enables her to easily bend steel crossbars in her own hands. Her level of strength is equivalent to that of Hawkman's or Killer Croc.
- Durability: Lashina's durability surpasses that of normal humans or Apokolipians. Her body is resilient enough to resist most military weapons, such as high caliber automatic rifles. Her level of durability is equivalent to that of Aquaman or Big Barda.
- Speed: Lashina is extremely agile and swift, which makes her a very ruthless warrior. Her speed allows her to move around quickly as well as run at uncanny speeds.
Known Abilities:
- Combat: Lashina is an extraterrestrial Amazonian warrior, the key to her abilities and to her fighting skill is based upon the years of combat that she endured ever since she was a child. She knows how to fight, unarmed, or armed combat, and she isn't one to be challenged. Although, her technique when working as a group is to simply immobilize the enemy, Lashina is able to hold up on her own if absolutely necessary. She's been through brutal and rigorous training under Granny's care, and is out of the group no doubt the best, and the fiercest fighter.
- Survival: Raised by Granny Goodness and on Apokolips, Lashina has excellent survival techniques. It isn't easy to train on Apokolips, and so her training has made her quite adept at living off the land and being able to defend herself from the wilderness around her. Aside from just being able to set up a campfire and fend off her hunters, Lashina also has a good sense of navigation and direction. She's able to survive in harsh environments and use possible every little thing to her advantage. Even though it's not really a skill used when stuck in the heat of battle, Lashina shouldn't be underestimated when she's left to fend for herself.
- Acrobatics: Lashina's enhanced coordination and reflexes make her a natural acrobat. Though not in the levels of Nightwing, she can do a lot of complicated stunts, and certainly look good while doing it. She's got balance and grace which when combined with her fierce fighting technique makes her a very swift fighting. With the addition of her flexible weapon of choice, Lashina's acrobatics makes her a very dangerous enemy.
- Leadership: After Big Barda left the team, Lashina assumed command of the Female Furies. She's got the zeal, the perseverance and the demanding persona that is required when being a leader of a very dangerous team. She leads with sheer confidence, ferocity and with great strength, which has kept her as the leader of the Female Furies for so long. She's an excellent commander, strategist, and leader for the Female Furies.
- Athletics: In terms of athletic feats, Lashina can be considered top level, be it running, swimming, jumping, or even physical resistance. Although she may not be a powerhouse, her stamina and personal abilities or “quirks” enable her to go toe-to-toe with powerful beings like Big Barda, Wonder Woman, or even Superman. She's an extraterrestrial Amazonian who is already on the peak of human physical prowess, giving her athletic performance that could outrank an Olympian athlete. She exercises regularly and viciously with her team mates on Apokolips, allowing her to be prepared for battle in any situation.

Transportation:
- Boom Tube: Boom Tube is an extra dimensional portal used by residents of New Genesis and Apokolips in DC Comics. The 'science' of Boom Tubes has never been explained (as is normal for the New Gods, though Orion, in the first issue of New Gods, says that a Tube "stems from the waves of the mind") but they allow people to travel interstellar distances quickly by creating an apparent tube between the points that people can travel through. When in use a 'tube' coated in arcane technology appears for the user to pass through accompanied by a loud 'boom' noise (hence the name). The Tubes need to be generated or opened by another device, commonly a Mother Box. Boom Tubes are powered by the mysterious X-element, which serves as a matter threshold.
Weapons:
- Battle Lashes: The chosen weapon of Lashina are long electrically charged steel whips. In her hands, they are lethal, and in combination of her acrobatic and athletic abilities, they are extremely deadly. The Battle Lashes release a powerful electric shock, upon the will of the user. They are able to wrap and ensnare its victims, and the lengths of the battle lashes appear to be limitless in the hands of Lashina. It's an extremely powerful and durable weapon.
