Diana job wasn’t as hard as Clarks, nor would it be with someone that had her powers. It just required her to fly around and gathering up people that were in direct danger, and directing others to an area that was safe. There was a few times that she had to fly in and pick up a child that decided to go their own way, than take the child back to the panic mother who was screaming for their child. By the time Clark had joined her Diana already had everyone to safety and was directing them to seek medical care, using calming words on each person that she talked too for they were just too far panic to respond to anything else. Truth was now the people really didn’t have anything to worry about for the worse was taken care off. The only thing that was left to deal with now was rebuilding and starting over again, but that would be up to them.
When Clark landed next to her and gave her the words of thanks, she couldn’t help but raise her eyebrow slightly. Maybe she wasn’t use to thanks from others, for she was working in teams with her fellow sisters not so much with someone like Clark. But then again it was nice to know at less he appreciate the work she did do, though it was truly nothing that anyone with the right mind couldn’t have done.
Clark was right that it was time to go, they were there to help not to do everything for them. People in man’s world needed to rely on themselves and the people that were tasked for their well fair. When he offered his hand to her, Diana couldn’t help but just look at it for a moment, trying to figure out what the point of it was. After all she could fly on her own, she was a fair flyer, but then again he could be just doing it as a sign of friendship. It took her a moment to decided, but in the end she didn’t take his hand but just pushed up from the ground. Flying a little ways ahead of him, Wonder Woman stopped in mid air and turned waiting for him to catch up to her.
