Brin dropped the now unconcious bank robber onto the sidewalk. His nostrils flared slightly and he elbowed the man sneaking up on him without looking before his arm shot forward again the fist taking out the only one still standing.
Figures his attempt to explore the city as it had been would end like this and he shook his head with a humorless chuckle. Just what he needed to distract from the fear he was going to see his home or his friends again though.
The sound of approaching sirens made his ears twitch as his head jerked up slightly and he glanced around at the group of criminals, stepping back into the shadows of the nearest alley. Let the proper authorities handle these guys now. He needed to focus on other things like the best park to sleep in if he was stuck in this era and where to find food. Surviving to find a way back to the 31st century was first priority.
Not looking back, he slipped through the back-streets, heading for the nearest park to begin his search then paused, picking up on an unfamiliar scent and commenting quietly.
"Who's there?"

Everything had been going exactly as she'd planned; the minions she'd hired had broken into the bank, the cops had been distracted exactly as she'd instructed and the loading of the money had been nearly finished. Then everything had been ruined when a long haired man had leapt, dog like at her men and taken them to pieces with his bare hands.
From her vantage point on a nearby building she cooed angrily, spreading the wings of her pigeon form and gliding down towards a nearby alley. It was all over so quickly that whoever the interfering bastard was had already moved away from the scene and for a moment she glided through the air, avian eyes narrowed angrily as Gemini considered how best to repay his interference.
Swooping down behind him her form began to shift and alter, wings growing into arms, feathers melting away until she hit the ground almost silently, back in her usual form once again. "You know, I really hate it when people poke their noses in where they're not wanted. You've just wrecked several weeks of planning, any last words before I tear you apart?"
Blue eyes narrowed in anger, she took in the long scruffy hair, the almost feral look and added disdainfully as an afterthought "And just what are you anyway, some kind of rabid dog?"

The overpowering scent of rubber he had picked up a few minutes was acting like it was following him. Brin paused as a flicker of movement from behind him caught his attention and he slowly turned, eyes narrowing at the source of the rubber smell, a woman clad in metal and an angry look on her face. The expression meant she had to be the brains behind the robbery as the other guys seemed to be the typical goon-material.
"You know, I really hate it when people poke their noses in where they're not wanted. You've just wrecked several weeks of planning, any last words before I tear you apart?" she paused to seemingly study Brin before continuing almost haughtily "And just what are you anyway, some kind of rabid dog?"
Brin's ears twitched forward slightly as he casually folded his arms over his chest and studied her as much she seemed to be studying him not seemingly phased by her words. He had been called similar insults or worse from the criminals in his time after all yet he couldn't afford to be taken off-guard either and replied, not taking his eyes off the woman as his entire body tensed like he was ready for a fight if one started.
"Who wants to know?"

Whoever this shaggy dog like person was, he didn't seem to have heard of her which was both reassuring and exasperating: It was good she'd kept her activities sufficiently secret not to attract attention, but Gemini also wanted people to know who she was and fear her abilities. But never mind, she'd take out her annoyance on this loser.
Keeping her own stance casual, Gemini continued sizing him up, confident in her belief that he posed no threat, her expression turning into a glare when he didn't answer her question. "I'm Gemini, and you really need to learn some respect!"
As she spoke, she brought her fist upwards in a powerful punch, her arm stretching to take the blow to him, hand swelling until it was almost the same size as the man, aiming to send him flying into the alley wall to one side.
It was time to teach this interfering flea bitten mongrel what she did to people who interfered in her business.

"I'm Gemini, and you really need to learn some respect!"
Stepping back, Brin glanced at the woman, studying her facial expressions and judging by her annoyed expression it looked like she wanted to pick a fight. His entire body tensed almost like he was getting ready for trouble yet waiting to see what her first move would be before she actually and literally stretched out an arm to deliver a punch to his cheek.
Brin's eyes narrowed like he hadn't quite been expecting that and barely brought his legs up as his back crashed into the wall then he kicked out violently with both feet, pushing the oversized hand out and away from him. Dropping to the ground a second later, he activated his flight ring and lifted off the ground a bit before dropping to slam his hands into the ground with all his strength, hoping the resulting crack would throw his assailant off-balance.
Barely letting up due to a sudden burst of anger, he growled, using a leg to try and swipe Gemini's own legs out from under her then with the ferocity that gave him his name, Brin lunged fast and hard at the woman in a gray, black and orange blur with one hand, claws extended, shooting out to slash at her swiftly.
