Eyes the colour of deep ocean waters searched every bit of the surroundings as Lian crouched down in the corner, remaining in the shadows the entire time. Around her was what appeared to be white metal walls, white metal floors and very few windows, those that did exist being small windows, everything in this area looked clean, far too clean for the young archer's taste, it looked, smelled and felt fake. This area was a simple one, long hallway empty of people, holding a few security cameras here and there, kind of spread out.
The soft unforgettable hum of the florescent lights above could be heard above the silence, being almost the only sound one could find in this hallway. It was creepy to say the least, bad things could be happening here but she didn't know.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as the crimson clad archer pulled down the strange yellow-gold goggles from on top of her eyes so they were covering the girl's eyes, obscuring the colour of them. Before her now held what appeared to be several long red lines of light spread out yet remaining close to each other, as if someone had taped or melded laser pointers to the walls, some moving up and down, like whoever had put them there wanted to mess with their cat or something. Lian smiled briefly as she thought about it, cats loved laser pointers and it amused her: Shaking her head swiftly she set her sights back on target, this wasn't the time to think of funny cat things.
She moved then, quickly jumping over the first laser, cartwheeling over a few others, repeating her moves whenever needed, back flipping then needed till she cleared the red beams that were brighter then the skin tight costume she wore. Placing a small device into the wall near where she stood, the archer pressed the currently green button, causing it to flash red; it would set out a pulse which would take out all security cameras in the area, she'd place another one if needed.
A smirk spread on her face as she moved foreword, time to begin.

[style= text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 550px;] Temper was something she tried not to let get the best of her, but damn was it getting really hard. She had been tracking down these low lives for the past few and days and if you wanted to talk about useless handimen, well she had first-hand experience with them. The problem wasn’t that they weren’t divulging the information she wanted – it was that they had no idea, or clue of what exactly they were being paid to protect. This was either a very smart move on the employer’s behalf, or the henchmen hired were just too stupid to know any better.
She would prefer to go for the latter because it would be ridiculous to fathom the idea that someone was outsmarting her. Belligerent reconnaissance activity finally brought Artemis to this place in question. A metal warehouse armed to the teeth with men (and surprisingly women) of various shapes and sizes and with rather blank expressions on their faces as they performed their rounds. Could she be surprised that the items of desire were holed up in such a place? Not one bit. This was the usual go to for illegal criminal workings and she felt kind of dumb not being able to figure this out on her own in the first place.
Lying on a box of crates, she was in a positioning that allowed her the shadow of the ceiling to protect her from any field of vision, including the cameras that hung overhead. Beneath her were a trio of men, heavily engaged in a playful game of this or that. Questions that challenged their sexuality, manlihood and overall personalities made Artemis roll her eyes as they roared and hooted amongst themselves, poking fun at any response that seemed to demean the player in any way. Seriously, what the hell? - was all the young woman could think as her body began to stiffen in discomfort from the rather awkward cobra like position she maintained for over ten minutes now.
Finally, as if responding to her dissatisfaction, one of the men rose from the makeshift table and motioned that he required a visit to the lavatory. With two men in the room now, Artemis would have an easier time for picking them off (not that she couldn’t handle three – she was just being lazy tonight). Brandishing her crossbow, she momentarily admired the pristine, black firearm with dark green and gold accents. Her pride, her joy her favorite piece of artillery for getting the job done.
Already loaded with one silver bow, the tip slightly barbed, Artemis took aim making sure to follow directions as daddy dearest had taught her and quickly released a shot straight for one man’s jugular. Penetrating the skin at the nape of his neck, Artemis could only watch in amusement as the arrow cut through the flesh and blood billowed from the front of his neck and onto the partner that sat across from him. There was a moment of silence as the blood stained man tried to make sense of what had just happened. But before he could do anything about it another arrow had been released and penetrated his jugular, a nice, clean shot from the front. He gurgled and sputtered, attempting to speak as his eyes went livid at the sight of the raven haired woman who descended from what seemed like the ceiling.
Dark red stains marred the untouched, white walls and floors and for a moment Artemis almost felt a little bad for ruining such clean surroundings. But that remorse only lasted only for a second and was if anything, misplaced. Stepping over the blood (and making sure not to get any on her boots) Artemis bent down and relinquished the walkie talkie that rested on the table between the man; a source of contact between them, a device perfect for tracking the activities of everyone else in the building. After all, the fate of these men wouldn’t be unbeknownst for long, Artemis needed to be prepared for whenever the whole placed decided to crash down. Placing the communication device on her belt, she nonchalantly walked out of the room, opened the door and made sure to turn off the lights and lock the door behind her.
She would move forward now, making way for whatever room held the weapons she was here for. An eccentric buyer had piqued her interest in terms of the amount he was willing to part with and with her recent trip that had her relocating throughout South East Asia, Artemis was in much need of an allowance. (Short Post sorry)
Her hands slipped toward the crossbow on her back, withdrawing an arrow and loading it into the place it had to be in order to fire correctly. The crimson clad female moved around the corner and fired the arrow toward two guards as they turned to face the oncoming female fighter. The arrow dipped down toward the ground and stuck there, releasing a puff of purple smoke; the smog filling the air and causing the men to choke on their own breath before falling to the ground, knocked out.
The smoke cleared and the women moved on silently, sticking to the shadows as best she could as she made her way through the halls, one by one clearing out any functioning cameras with EM pulses. There were few apposing guards who knew of her intrusion and those that did, didn't get to stay upright, conscious or alive long enough to notify their leaders, assuming any of them were the leaders, or that the leader was here.
She moved again, after cleaning out another polished wall, ruining the clean white walls that seamed to be everywhere. It was almost like a maze if you thought about it, everything looked the same and that wasn't exactly something good, though tactical wise...maybe it was...who knew!?!
Lian smirked as she rounded the next corner toward her destination, if she was lucky, she wouldn't run into any more apposing forces (So she's headed in Artemis' direction.)

[style= text-align: justify; padding: 5px; width: 550px;] She made her way through the complex without much effort, in fact not even breaking a sweat as she toppled down a guard force of about ten men so far. Whatever or whoever was heading this project clearly had no personal ties to their weaponry or were obviously new to this kind of job. And that was one thing Artemis knew quite well, the difference between the experienced bad guys and the ones that just turned out to be schmucks. This guy was clearly a schmuck and for that he would pay with his goods.
Traversing down the sterilized hallway, she calmly gripped her bow, being sure to take out any cameras with a quick flick of her wrist and the release of a blunt, tipped arrow that embedded itself into the side of the device and forced a loop to play. Whoever was watching, if anyone was watching would just see a never ending displaying of a seemingly empty hallway.
“Quiet night fellas?”
Artemis spoke, her husky voice breaking the silence as a pair of men who had been standing around idly turned and bared their gaze upon her. There was some thankfulness in their eyes as they were grateful for a change of pace, but that expression was quickly turned to regret as she unleashed two arrows. They soared through the air, cutting through it like a hot knife through butter and as they fell from their maximum height, they spiraled down toward the pair of hoodlums and their tips erupted. A green haze filled the corridor and Artemis fixated a gas mask upon her face as she walked through the smoke. Shouts and coughs filled the air at her sides as she passed through, but it was quickly silenced and followed by the heavy thuds of bodies.
Footsteps were heard coming down the hallway, and without taking proper aim, she fired two more rounds of the gas filled arrows. More coughing, more wheezing and some cursing, but that all stopped with the same sound of bodies hitting the floor. Like music to her ears, the young archer moved forward sure that she was rounding upon the room that housed the very items that had beckoned her. Relinquishing her tight grip on her bow, Artemis moved forward, removing the gas mask and returning it to its place on her utility belt.
Her eyes narrowed as she fixated her gaze down the hallway. At the last moment, with her concentration focused and with the rounding of the corridor coming up. Artemis paused, her ears perked and strained to listen to the distinctive rapport that reached her ear drums. The pitter patter of boots echoed down the hallway, around the corner and coming fast in her direction. She cocked her head slightly, gripping her bow and using her right hand to produce an arrow from her sheath. The green, carbon fiber shaft slid through her delicate fingers and as she walked with carefully and precise footsteps she laid it onto its rest, and popped its rear onto her string.
Slowly, Artemis Crock raised her right hand and produced three fingers, holding them out loosely and gracefully as they reached for the three nubs on her bow’s string. Five more steps and she would reach the bend in the hallway. Breathing out calmly, Artemis raised her bow, all while simultaneously following the measure of steps. The bend came, her bow was raised at proper height now and she had pulled the string, the hard wire now pressed against her chin.
A quick turn on the ball of her foot and she had turned at exactly ninety degrees, her arms in position and the tip of her arrow pointed forward as she took her aim on the hooded red figure that stood a mere few feet away.
Hesitation for just a moment, and with a long exhale she released her three fingers on the string, watching in slow motion as her edged arrow was launched forward. [/style]

OOC: Short post sorry.
IC: Eyes narrowed as they scanned each wall as the crimsons archer drew ever closer to the corner, ears perked to pick up anything that wasn't there before. A soft sound could be heard, one the women recognized quite well, the sound of halting footsteps and what could only be an arrow. Her hands drew back quietly as she reached the corner and withdrew her own crossbow, blood red in colour with a metallic sheen to it and an arrow with a tinny whole at the tip, unseeable until close inspection.
She loaded this arrow quietly as she rounded the corner, three fingers edging their way into the right position, the palm of the hand covered in black fingerless gloves. Lian frowned as an arrow flew toward her swiftly before jumping out of the way, just barely dodging it as it soared forward.
Releasing her own arrow, the women crouched down into a good possession so as to get ready to fire. "Well isn't this a surprise, haven't run into any other archers in here." she commented calmly before taking a somewhat good look at the women, shock over-taking her, it was Artemis, she was an Arrow like Lian herself was, a key role middle in her life when she'd been growing up, and now they were going to do battle.....maybe...

There was no momentary hesitation as Artemis gracefully strung her arm back and cocked another arrow onto her bow. The beautiful green surface gleamed under the florescent light and the tip of the silver arrow pointed purposefully at the small red hooded figure. The individual - whom judging by their frame was female - possessed sharp evasive skills that almost threw Artemis' concentration off guard as she witnessed her swift dodge of the bow.
It was no matter, a quick assessment and Artemis sprung another. Her target this time was in the predetermined positioning of the archer and with hope that it might actually make contact. Breathing in softly, she displayed her own evasive skills with a smooth side step to avoid her opponent's arrow. While the red hood's commentary about archers was right, she was in the slightest bit inquisitive as to who this woman was.
"Not sure if that's the question you should be asking."
Her slight husk was laced with enthusiasm as the thrill of the fight was heightened by the sound of oncoming footsteps in the distance. A look around informed her of the camera that the two had failed to notice or even take out. She would take this in stride, perhaps she could dump the baboons on the bigger one before her and get on with her own personal task at hand.
The raven haired women began to weave side to side, brandishing an arrow that was quickly loaded into her bow. This time the tip of her chosen arsenal possessed a flat, magnetic surface with circuit lines that ran alongside the head. Aiming it first at the red hooded archer for dramatics, Artemis stuck her tongue out in a showy display of temptation and res positioned her arm and released the bow to the ceiling.
Immediately, it clung to the surface and a spark ignited from the head. A radial EMP wave was emitted from the small arrow and Artemis waved nonchalantly to the red hooded archer as the lights within a ten foot radius flickered out and left them in darkness.
Footsteps were fast approaching and with a quick run forward, Artemis found herself sliding past her red hooded foe and quickly pushing up to break into a sprint in the opposite direction.
"Pick on someone your own size!"
Was the last thing she uttered as she raced down the hallway and listened to the cocking of firearms down the other end of the hallway.

The raven haired archer frowned as she watched Artemis dodge her own arrow once more before setting up on of her own, this was going to get interesting and that thought made her want to smile, she didn't though, not yet. Lian looked at the green clad archer before finally letting the smile she was holding back spread on her face as she took in the emerald clad archer.
"I swear we're like, a christmas themed bunch of people here, all reds and greens."
She said this in a low voice but one which was still audible enough to be heard by her fellow archer. It was true though, the Arrow family was all sorts of red and green clad arrow toting people which when you thought about it, it was amusing.
Another arrow from the green clad archer was sent the crimson girl's way. She frowned and moved once more away from the arrow, just barely able to avoid it, the side of the tip grazing her arm and cutting into the thinner part of the girl's sleeve.
Footsteps rang through the halls as armed guards moved their way through the halls ever closer to the apparently christmas themed duo. Her eyes floated toward the ceiling in realization, she'd missed a camera, damn how had she messed up like that. She watched as another arrow, a flat tipped one was pointed at her briefly and hten redirected toward the camera. It took out the camera quick enough.
Artemis ran past Lian then, away from the guards who were nearing the two with a mumbled Fight someone your own size, statement...so she was being ditched? Like hell she was going to stick around for a bunch of guys with guns. Before turning herself, the girl took another arrow from her pack and loaded it before firing it to the floor, it exploded into a puddle of stick white goo, it was a glue arrow and it would hopefully slow down the guards.
She ran then, following the emerald clad archer away from the armed gun bearing guards.
