Part 1 of The World's Finest
Cars honked as a black limousine came to a stop outside the tall building of Lex Corp. The sleek sheen of the automobile was further compounded by the presence of darkened windows all over. The vehicle itself clearly cost a small fortune. Obviously, the limo's driver would not pay the other drivers any mind. A man emerged from the passenger side dressed in a fine black suit. He walked over to the back of the elongated car, his fine shoes tapping against the concrete.
The man pulled open the door to reveal a man stepping out. This man held a clear poise and control of his body. He was dressed in a navy suit made of silk, with a matching red tie. His hair was a bright blonde color, sleeked back with oil. A matching beard and mustache accompanied the ensemble. Walking forward accompanied by two body guards, the entourage entered the front doors of Lex Corp. One of the guards walked up to the secretary desk and spoke to the woman sitting there.
"Miles Davis is here to see Lex Luthor. We have an appointment."
The woman looked at her computer.
"Yes of course. One moment please."
The woman left her chair and went to the door behind her. Miles Davis was CEO of Davis Inc. Davis Inc was one of the many mid sized corporations in the world today. Though by no means a mega corporation, it did carry enough prestige that when it came calling about making a deal with Lex Corp, Luthor would be interested. Davis Inc had been founded in 1927, quickly becoming a giant. Miles Davis was the son of the companies founder and had been running it since 1959. The man was now 68 years old, though looked ten years younger. The secretary returned through the door and looked at the guard.
"If you go into the elevator, you will be taken by an escort where you need to go."
Miles and his guard did as the woman said. Traveling through Lexcorp's various check points until they arrived outside a meeting room. The guards were told to wait outside, which they grudgingly obliged to. Miles then entered the meeting room to begin his talk with Lex Luthor.
