Rules of Character Bios
After a character bio has been approved, the bio will be moved into one of the following sections, heroes, neutrals, or criminals.
If you are going to edit, or add something to an ALREADY approved bio, please inform an admin so we can re-approve it.
If you need help copying/pasting an already approved bio, please seek help on the board or in c-box. We are more than happy to assist in this, and recognize everyone is not computer literate.
If you are applying for your second character a Sample RP post is optional but not necessary. However, if we feel that you are not portraying your character appropriately we reserve the right ro revoke player's rights.
If you are still having problems concerning approval, be aware of the rules.
KEY ITEMS TO REMEMBER
(Pertains ONLY to ORIGINAL CHARACTERS)
(Pertains ONLY to ORIGINAL CHARACTERS)
A. A user can only create an original character after he/she registers as two canon characters. You cannot pick characters that are on the same team. After you have played as the two canon characters, and the staff feels that you have done an excellent job, then you are allowed to create an original character. *Please don't complain about this, as some sites do not allow Custom characters at all*
B. If you would like an OC please make sure they are original! If they are going to be another version of a canon character staff will ask if you would prefer to adapt the canon instead, otherwise the powers will be limited to less then the canon. Humans are more then welcome, as civilians, heroes or villains. Not all have to be meta human or alien, or super powered.
1. Copying any appearance/ voice/ whatever from another character (like mystique)
2. Copying powers (like rogue)
3. Copying thoughts/ habits/ knowledge/ memories. this is in a way like character control, and only the person whose character it is could do it right
4. Complete magical abilities, like a magician. this gets god-moddy.
5. Superspeed. above-average speed is okay.
6. Immortality (age and looks is ok, so long as they can be killed or defeated one or the other... you know what both is perfect ha ha)
7. Completely invisibility/ intangibility. your character should have a way to be spotted. Intangibility must be limited.
8. Creating objects/ clones or waking up the dead or anything of the sort where you control other units.
9. Wishes, genie power, no.
10. Paralysis/ control over another character's body or thoughts
11. Control over more than one element, absolutely no. Unless your powers affiliate with many elements then just no.
12. Pulling other characters into other universes or dimensions.
